Wonderful guest house to match a wonderful weekend in Windermere!

We had an excellent stay, great location and very responsive team to any queries we had. We were able to leave our bags in a secure location which was really useful as people who travelled by train and didn't have a car to store luggage once checked out. Location was great, in between Windermere station and the lake which meant it was very easy to get around.

Room was immaculate and well equipped. Lovely shower. Great communication from host with quick emailing. Lovely guest house overall and would recommend.

The mattress in room 2 needs changing. Both myself and partner did not sleep good due to the mattress springs, was very hard to get comfy. Also the green light from what I think was the WiFi box right near the bed is not great as it distracts you from sleeping, its very bright at night time. Could do with being moved to near the wardrobe.

Cosy rooms with on street parking available when we arrived

It was clean and rooms were cute! The water, tea & coffee was greatly appreciated! Bed was just a bit to small and uncomfy. One night was ok though.

We like to walk everywhere and it is a little out of the heart of the restaurants etc but on street parking was available so that was great!

A lovely place to stay

Close location to all parts of the lakes. Room was spotless with great contact with Ellis the owner and the shower was amazing. A perfect place to stay and we will return.

Really appreciated I was permitted to drop off bag before check-in time. Full length mirror, lots of hooks. Kettle & biscuits. Nice room.

Curtains didn’t completely close. No communal space to relax in, just the room.

Terrible nights sleep!

Good location

We stayed in room 4 and could hear every word and bathroom noise from next room! I think you need to be putting some sound insulation into your dividing walls, had a terrible sleep!
