All the processes, from check-in to check-out, were clearly explained with helpful guidelines, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is very convenient—about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from Bowness-on-Windermere.
Jane and Mark are wonderful hosts. I reached out to ask about arranging breakfast since we were still undecided, and Jane responded quickly and even followed up with additional messages, which was much appreciated.
Although we didn’t get the chance to visit the wellbeing/health centre, it seems like a great option to have—especially if the weather isn’t ideal.

Exceptional place to stay if visiting the Bowness area.
Absolutely spotless throughout. Fantastic room and tea,coffee making facilities in the beautiful ensuite rooms with a great big bay window and comfortable king size bed and delicious cooked breakfast. Hospitality is secind to none with lovely hosts.Will definitely return.

Had a really good 3 night stay here. The property was lovely and clean and relaxing. Having been hiking all day it was nice to come back and relax and being in such a quiet location made it easier. Will definitely be staying again
