Awesome accommodation, definitely recommend.

We really loved our room and would definitely recommend. A great location within a short walking distance from the township. The room was really well sized and very comfortable. The host was terrific and very helpful. There was parking in the street out front which was very handy. Great price for the location.

Not much we were very happy. Street parking maybe be limited if you arrive later in the afternoon or early evening.

Excellent quiet location only 10 minute walk to the centre of Bowness. We had room 3 top of the house with beautiful views of Lake Windermere. We parked right outside no isuue at all. The room was lovely, bed very comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee and a great shower. Michaela was a great host and the early check gave us more time to enjoy Bowness.

Lovely Lakes Location

Fabulous location clean and newly furbished rooms . The host was lovely, friendly and helpful . Highly recommend for a Lake District stay. Don't be put off by the room with the separate bathroom, you are the only ones on that floor so it's essentially a private bathroom.

Rooms were very clean and the location near the Bowness pier was ideal for getting around with public transport. No surprises with the stay. Exactly as advertised. Would have loved a room with a better view but this was never listed as one and it is very good for the price you pay!

I like. the fact that basically once check in you were left alone. All accommodation very clean newly painted wonderful shower comfortable bed..

I was on the third floor and the narrow little stairs were very difficult for me with two heavy bags. I have a minor heart and was completely out of breath. I think for people staying on third floor, it should be pointed out beforehand.

Anniversary weekend away

We stayed on the top floor in room 3 and we're lucky enough to get a beautiful view of Windermere lake and the hills. The room was small but so cosy the bathroom was a good size and will definitely book to stay again.

Would like if pets could stay because we want to bring our dog next time apart from that everything was amazing!

we had a really nice stay, the room was quiet and comfortable.

The room was large, bright and clean with all necessary storage. I just found that having our private bathroom outside the room meant that we had to go through a corridor used by other guest. The location was good, not to far from the town and lake but as we are in our 70s, we found it hard to go up really steep hills back to the guest house.

Nice location but not the best for sleeping

The location is really good. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby and the lake is just down the hill.

The double bed was really narrow. The room was hot, even though it was under 20 degrees outside. The road outside was quite loud, especially with the windows open.

Lovely guest house

Great communication with the owner. The room was lovely. Well set out. Tea/coffee making facilities with some biscuits and some bottled tap water. Hairdryer. Lovely modern bathroom with a shower. Would definitely book again on my next visit to Bowness.

Warm welcome, and lovely lady. Really nice room, well laid out, clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and pillows had a great night's sleep. Only a short walk into town, where restaurants and shops are plentiful, and of course, on the doorstep of the wonderful lakes Plenty of parking on the roadside, which is a relief as parking in town is a nightmare!

Only niggles; dog barking was heard in my room, but was silent at night, so didn't really bother me. No en-suite as expected, but a dedicated (not shared) bathroom, so no real issue.

Perfect location for visitiing Bowness

This guest house is in a perfect location for a stay in Bowness. On street parking is available, but it is also close to the bus route. The guest house is lovely with a comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean, and well furnished, with an ample supply of teas & coffees

The bed was a bit hard for my liking, but my Husband thought it was great. So, you can't please everybody :)

A Lovely Stay

Welcomed with a friendly smile and warmth. The room had everything we needed for the one night we stayed. Very clean and cosy. Lovely views. The guest house was only a ten minute walk from the main town centre. If I were to stay in Bowness-in-Windermere, I would stay here again. A very reasonable price per night for the location.
