The hosts, Jane and Mark, are lovely people who go above and beyond during your stay at Thornbank House. The communication regarding booking details and check in were clear before arrival which made the journey down much more comfortable and exciting. The attention to detail, such as providing recommendations of where to eat and tourist destinations, emphasised how much effort Jane and mark put into taking care of their guests. Thornbank itself is located in an ideal location with a 10 minute walk towards the lake and many bus stops close by. Could not recommend enough and would visit again! x

The room was remarkably cool, comfortable and contained all of the usual extra items. Additionally, the owners were extremely friendly and served an excellent 5 star breakfast.
