All the processes, from check-in to check-out, were clearly explained with helpful guidelines, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is very convenient—about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from Bowness-on-Windermere. Jane and Mark are wonderful hosts. I reached out to ask about arranging breakfast since we were still undecided, and Jane responded quickly and even followed up with additional messages, which was much appreciated. Although we didn’t get the chance to visit the wellbeing/health centre, it seems like a great option to have—especially if the weather isn’t ideal.

Exceptional place to stay if visiting the Bowness area. Absolutely spotless throughout. Fantastic room and tea,coffee making facilities in the beautiful ensuite rooms with a great big bay window and comfortable king size bed and delicious cooked breakfast. Hospitality is secind to none with lovely hosts.Will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely place 😀

I had a great time staying at this lovely BnB. It was clean, and homely which is what one needs after travelling 24 hours. I arrived right after the peak summer but was still a bit warm, they provided the last fan available and it was great! Highly recommend this accommodation with many off street parking. I did not have breakfast at the property so am unable to comment on this. I'm pretty low maintenance as a traveller but the owners kept checking in on me as I was coming in and going out. This shows great care for all of their guests. Lastly, they have written their own little must do, must eat around the lakes district and I did one of their recommended must drives and it was AMAZING! So even just for that, I am so grateful! Will definitely stay there again if I have the good fortune of returning to the Lakes District.
