We went to the Lakes for our honeymoon and Steve and Vicky left us a lovely card and present as we checked into our room. The location wss perfect, between Windermere and Bowness and closed to the restaurants and the pier for boat trips. Room was lovely and Vicky left us a slice of her delicious homemade cake every morning. Thank you Steve and Vicky for making our stay so memorable.

A great B n B ideally located halfway between Windermere and Bowness town, both easy walking distance. Breakfast was lovely, as was the homemade cake we came back to each day. Steve and Victoria were friendly and helpful.

Very steep and narrow stairs. Very small room but lots of light and elevated position. Shower was very small and jets in the shower tiny. Breakfast was very nice and owners were very nice. There was attention to detail in how the place was run

This was booked for my 21st birthday. They offered to pick us up from the station, as they knew we were not familiar with the area. The location and house itself is ideal! The hosts were lovely, very caring and polite, and were always ready to help. They told us the points of interest and fast routes to those areas, the bnb was the cleanest I've ever seen compared to others I've stayed at. They upgraded us for free! And extra surprise~ and if that wasn't enough, when we got into the room there was a signed card and vox of chocolates waiting for us. Can it get better? YES! The bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast was amazing! All items were sourced locally and their jam was homemade! (We walked away with 2 jars, it's too good to have only once, seriously) they also allowed us to leave our bag in the bnb while we spent the last day out. No other job has ever offered that before. I cannot recommend this place enough, not one complaint to give. The staff were amazing, food is incredible, area is beautiful and close to pretty much everything! It was extremely clean and comfortable! If you want to go to the lake district, stay here! I can't thank the hosts enough for the effort they put into making our stay perfect~

Steve was very friendly and provided lovely, cooked breakfasts the two days that we were there. He answered our questions about local walks and other walks in the Lake District. Our room was cozy and clean with a good shower and a firm mattress. Invergarry's rates are quite low for quality service. I highly recommend Invergarry.

A very pleasant accommodation for a one night stay. Rather cramped room in the roof has few facilities other than sleeping, toilet and bathing. Breakfast room welcoming.

I stayed in the superior room in the Invergarry guesthouse and really enjoyed my stay there. The guesthouse is in a great location for visiting Bowness on Windermere or Windermere as it is half way between the two. The room I had was a good size, especially for a guesthouse and so was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the personal touches like the homemade cake in the room and the homemade jam/marmalade in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners either, they were happy to give advice on the local area and help out with anything I needed. I therefore would definitely stay there again.

A fantastic stay. Friendly and comfortable. Quiet however walking distance from the main shops and restaurants, of which there were plenty. Only negative remark would be that the room could do with a black out blind or thicker curtains as it lets in a lot of light as the sun comes up.
