Rum Doodle, Windermere B&B

Breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon to full english. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Only minor, the bed could have been bigger.

Just came away from a lovely weekend stay at the Rum Doodle. From the minute we were greeted at the door to leaving, we were in good hands of their lovely staff. The host was efficient and polite. The lady who was serving breakfast was brilliant and chatty (I hope you try the pancakes soon😋). Room was small but comfortable and clean. Parking was tight in the little car park but manageable! Love the decor in the breakfast room.

Room was hot but stayed through a partial heatwave but fan was provided which helped!

The breakfast was fine for my partner I myself was a vegetarian and they catered for me.

There was nothing that they could improve on. Everything was really thought out. Top quality bedding and beautiful towels. The Rum Doodle was amazing! You wouldn’t be disappointed staying here.

The location was brilliant, a lovely walk down to the lake. Close enough for all the shops and restaurants but not on the doorstep so it was quiet in the evening. Parking was a nice bonus too. Room was really nice, bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed. The bathroom was lovely, clean and well equipped.

Nothing, absolutely loved it.
