The proximity or distance of the guest house to the public transport (bus terminals/trains) and the lake is perfect. Also, with the good location, we were able to hike the easy viewpoint of Windermere. We also loved the breakfast of the host, it’s freshly cooked and delicious. Jo, the host is very warm and accommodating.
We arrived on the very peak of the heatwave at the Lakes and booked the attic. It was hot in the room, although there was a ceiling fan, it didn’t make any difference. We suggest that a stand fan can possibly be available next time especially during heat waves.
