Great location, the room was a perfect size for two. Jo was so welcoming from the get go and makes a lovely english breakfast with freshly baked bread! Was very accommodating to vegetarian options too.
The location is perfect to get to the main Lake District hot spots, and the restaurants and shops are a 2 min walk. Parking on the main street or in the carpark opposite the guesthouse (3 & 7 day ticket can be used in lots of other carparks around too).
Will definitely book with Jo again if/when we come back! :)

This was my fourth visit. I normally try and book here as it has single room availability. Very comfortable bed to ease the aching muscles. Good and quick breakfast to help catch first bus from end of road. Bus access to Glenridding, Langdale, Grassmere and Keswick from end of road.

Very conveniently located, easy walk to shops, restaurants, rail station and bus stops. 15 minute walk down hill to Bowness, 10 minute bus ride back up the hill
No a thing, lovely room, charming owner, tasty breakfast with homemade bread.
