7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
We wanted to experience the beautiful town of Windermere to the full extent of English countryside hospitality and charm. Broadlands ticked all the boxes. Easy walk to restaurants. Spacious enough for 2 people with a fair amount of luggage. Bathroom very clean although a bit small.
Not enough hanging space/hooks for wet towels.

Very convenient for everything.
The stairs were a bit too much for us as we are not young any more.

The room was fantastic, very comfortable bed, lovely decor, good touch with the porridge and breakfast bar along with tea and coffee facilities. Excellent location for the town and then a lovely walk down to Bowness. We went in Aug when it was quite warm and there is a fan in the room along with a heater if it is cold. Communication was brilliant, our room was ready early and we received an email to confirm where to collect our keys. Parking was easy to in the Pay and Display across the road.
Nothing.
