This was a perfect stay! Everything my partner and I needed was there, and everything was so well catered for. There was plenty of gluten free options available at breakfast, and freshly baked GF flapjacks in our room after we told Andrew and Abigail about a gluten allergy. Our hosts were helpful, warm and friendly and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely be visiting again next time we go to the lakes!

Charming house which is beautifully maintained and is kept immaculate by the owners. The owners, Abigail and Andrew, are very hospitable making you feel very welcome and attentive to your needs. The room was spotlessly clean and well furnished Excellent home cooked breakfast

Stunning property in the perfect location! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We were very lucky to have had two nights here and honestly I can’t recommend highly enough. To the very warm welcome, super comfy bed, fancy bubble bath and the most delicious breakfast! We can’t wait to return in the near future.

We had a lovely stay at Ivy thwaite Lodge Guest House. The room was comfortable, everything was clean and well looked after, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient, and we really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere. We’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.
