The stay was overpriced and the tranquil retreat we stayed at on crook was so much better. The celing was thin and hear

Hot tub water pressure. Lights around the top of the room in the images weren’t there Bed was so uncomfortable Elephants upstairs and coming / going all night making it so noisy and nearly got only 1 hour sleep My partner also smacked her head off the wall in the cupboard because there’s a step with no sign or anything

Great stay!

The overall stay was really good. The staff were very accommodating and the room was lovely.

Whilst the staff were accommodating and tried everything they could, we had little to no signal in our room as well as the WiFi. This meant we couldn’t use the TV properly or use our phones to watch something on there.

Enjoyed it, but few niggles alongside the cost of our stay, means I wouldn’t stay again.

Trendy, Clean, lovely big bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was really good value and delightful.

The hot tub was directly next to the front door of the hotel (but covered / encased in a fence) and it meant there was noise when wanting to relax in the hot tub. Could hear talking and noise through the hotel door and closed inside hotel room door which was a bit annoying. Also, throughout the night, could hear a hot tub (presumably) jets kicking in and it was quite loud and disturbing for us who are light sleepers as it is.

Not really getting two full days when paying £800 for two nights which is expensive when you can only check in from 3pm and check out 10:30. Think the check in time should be at least from 12pm

Good experience but a little over priced.

Staff were amazing, location is perfect. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice.

For the price we paid, there were stains on the head board, iron burn on the carpet and the bed seemed hard (only my opinion).

We’ve been before so we knew it was going to be a nice stay. Great facilities. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

There were a couple of things with the room that could have improved the experience. The sauna door didn’t close properly due to the wood warping, this meant heat escaped so it didn’t heat the sauna up effectively. Also the fire only had oil in the middle section which wasn’t a major issue as it still worked but just something to bear in mind for future bookings.

Lovely stay with great facilities and a lovely surprise of a free upgrade on arrival.

We were surprised with a free upgrade on arrival which was a lovely surprise. Room was immaculate with great facilities.

There were a small issues like the lighter for the fire working and the body wash dispenser was empty but can’t complain for the upgrade we received and still had a lovely stay.

Amazing facilities and place to stay! Would recommend to anyone!

Private parking with electric points. Breakfast ordered to the room. Lovely coffee machine with pods and complimentary mini fridge. Netflix account logged onto tv.

No roof over hot tub on our suite. Unfortunately it rained a lot during our stay which made the hot tub experience slightly less pleasant with no roof.

My partner and I are in room 22 we are Very uncomfortable from the noise guests staying above us are making I called reception at 10pm stating the loud noise they told me if it continues after 10:30 let us no it carried on until 1 am totally annoyed can not sleep staff did nothing to address this

Relaxing and quiet stay

It had a hot tub, waterbed, sauna bath, the best view ever looking into the hills and forest. Bed was so comfy. Staff was very polite and always helpful.

Only problem we had was the radiators one minute they was working the next they wasn’t. Also the hot tub is turned off at a certain time and on at a certain time. I wouldn’t recommend walking either to the place as it is a walk and half from the bus station.

I had a beautiful stay at the hotel, surrounded by a lovely atmosphere and well-kept gardens that added a peaceful touch

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay here again in the future

Value for money, I expected a sperate lodge however the room is nestled in a building hotel setting, the spa bath was not powerful the jets hardly worked and would turn off after like 20 mins .. the tv in the bathroom when you turned off woul come back on itself! turn it off again, again comeback on! eventually just had to leave it on then turn the volume down. would not class as "Luxury" in the slightest. My partner couldn't believe how much I had paid. The balcony you looked out and literally could see folk downstairs in the tub, cold hear every single thing they were saying, no privacy at all.

Loved the hot tub and the breakfast delivered really nice touch and the staff very helpful. The mini fridge is a big help also and the Mrs loved the size of the bath with the tv

Few finishing touches need polishing : paint round the main door , the silicone round the bath is old and worn , think for the price the fire place could be more modern also. This is just me picking as very much enjoyed the stay but for the price you expect perfect

Very comfy bed. Good shower and sunken tub. Also good hot tub outside which was difficult given the weather (obvs not hotels fault).fridge in room Very cold and comfy enough for 2.

Room a little small compared to pictures. Breakfast only available in the room (for some this might be a plus however) id like to go somewhere seperate if it was possible. Very stringent clauses on check in for noise etc that im sure work well but made me think upon signing (350 for noise / smoking outside the lodge etc).

Poorly cleaned, slug and dead flies. Went to make a coffee In the morning & milk was off! Staff didn’t seem to care. Ruined what was a birthday surprise for my partner.

The hot tub I’ve stayed twice before and it’s been excellent but that’s not the case now

The reception area unfortunately has a strong smell of stale urine and the attitude of the lady on the desk left a lot to be desired. The lady on the desk would not except that on booking.com breakfast was included (not that I eat breakfast but it was included) The £700 per night suite I stayed in had Stains on the carpets Brown marks 🤮on towels Massive horrible stain on the ceiling The stairs leading up a level into the suite need new carpet as existing filthy and tatty. Aphrodite s needs upgraded 💯

It was pleasant.

Location was good, quiet and walking distance into bowness was about 30 minutes.

The room was hot, no air con, just a really big fan, which sounded like a jet engine when used, so could not keep it on to sleep. Also the green tiny spot light which comes on at night is too bright, and kept me awake. A very tiny thing that was missing is a hook to be able to hang your robe or towel on, especially by the steam/shower door.
