breakfast is excellent, the yogurt start is the best. The room is good size with good garden view. The bed is soft and super confortable. The bathroom is clean and shower is stable and water is worm. The location id perfect with car park especially we drove there. it is very near to the lake and town. it is perfect to walk around or walk to the town.

A lovely place. Far enough from the centre of Bowness to be quiet and relaxing but close enough to walk into the centre without the worry of finding car parking. The TV was a SMART tv and good fast internet. Lovely hospitality and a good breakfast with plenty of choice. Very comfortable king size bed and spotlessly clean.

Amazing stay, great location, definitely recommend.

Me and my partner stayed here in August, and it turned out to be one of our favourite places to stay. The room was in perfect condition and the toileteries that came with it were amazing. Susan and Glen were the loveliest hosts. They provided a delicious breakfast and went above and beyond regarding customer service. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to visit again.

We stayed in the Jacobean Suite, it was spacious and comfortable, with lovely furnishings. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choice. Susann and Glenn were so friendly and made us feel so very welcome. An easy flat walk into Bowness on Windermere.

We really enjoyed our stay

How clean it was, the food is delicious and plenty of choice. The bed and pillows are super comfy, a good size TV. Our shower was amazing, quite powerful and plenty if hot water. We had a room with a separate dressing area which was great. Tea, coffee milk etc was replenished plus a little fridge in the room as well which was handy for keeping drinks and fruit chilled. My fav was toiletries from The White Company which smells divine.

Comfortable pleasant place to stay

Personalised breakfast menu. Very personable hosts. Nice room with lots of space and good facilities. Near to the centre of Bowness with only a short walk which was through a very pretty area.

Communal breakfast area might not be everyone's cup of tea (although I didn't mind this at all.

It was a very comfortable, enjoyable stay and we were very well looked after.

The bedroom was spacious and well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable, the whole guest house was very clean and well-kept, the breakfast was well-cooked and filling, and the proprieters Susan and Glenn were always very pleasant and willing to help you.

Would have been nice to have an evening meal there but I understand if the proprieters don't want the extra work this would entail for them. Otherwise, there was nothing which we didn't like.
