A bit overpriced but a good stay

The location of the property is very nice . Its walkable distance from the town centre yet away from the noise of the town. The breakfast provided is delicious. The hosts are very welcoming.

Only there for 1 night so fine for a quick visit.

Breakfast nice and just enough. A decent walk to town, but we knew that, feels more than a mile, but it was very wet.

Bathroom too small, although I understand the limitations.

Lovely property, great location around 15 mins walk to the centre/lake. Breakfast was lovely, owners were friendly.

Room was quite small, shower/toilet area was very small and the sink was outside of the toilet area (within the bedroom.) I think the cost was quite high for the size of the room.

What a great find Brooklands Guest house was - Karen and Andy are brilliant hosts - really friendly and attentive (nothings too much trouble) we had the family room with stunning views - Breakfast was great (my son especially loved his sausage sandwich on a morning) Will be back again for sure

Lovely stay in Bowness

Very homey and cozy. The room was comfortable and clean. Place is also a good walk to and from the village. Breakfast is spot on. Kudos to Karen and Andy for being ever accommodating and hospitable.

The toilet in the room was a bit cramped. Everything else was great.

Friendly host, lovely breakfast. Room clean and tidy with enough space for my daughter to play on floor.

Tv can only been seen from double bed so daughter couldn't see it from her bed. Not a massive issue though.

Andy and Karen were more than helpful nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was excellent both well cooked and plenty to start off your day. We stayed in the family room on the top floor, the room was a good size with all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. The location was on the outskirts of town great for a quiet stay with no distraction. The cost was well worth the price payed for both the comfort and time of year

The staff were really helpful and friendly. It was an old house and the owners wanted to keep as many original features as possible, modernising would have ruined it. Good breakfast. 2 comfy chairs.

Perfect birthday stay

It was great price, amazing breakfast, super friendly host. Room was fantastically clean and really great for 3 adults. Lots of tea/coffee/extra glasses, towels etc and room was serviced daily. Beautiful location. She even put a candle in my breakfast as was my birthday and had a great conversation.

The sink not in the bathroom, door was difficult to lock/unlock, mattress was a little old but comfy. Car park was hard to use and would struggle with more cars in. Was a mile away from the town.
