We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do, making it easy to get around. Chris & Victoria were fantastic: friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Also made it extra special for my boyfriend’s birthday by decorating the room . Breakfast was also amazing.

Chris & Victoria 😊 lovely amazing hosts who just couldn’t do enough for us. Hazeldene was just like a British B & B should be, so authentic. Weather was sweltering 😎 but that made the owners even more attentive to ensure our stay wasn’t impacted. 👏👏
We were at back if property in Room 2 with amazing views and can imagine front rooms a bit noisy as right on roadside but location, free parking etc more then compensated for this.

The reasons that we booked Hazeldene were the central location, parking, bike store, and value for money.
The reasons that we will return are the lovely hosts who went the extra mile to look after us. This was reflected throughout our stay in the delicious and hearty breakfast; comfortable beds with crisp bedding, tea tray with choices of tea and coffee, chocolates and biscuits, fresh filtered water, lovely toiletries, fans in the room...... Everything was just spot on.

Perfect location and chris and victoria were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast freshly cooked to order. Lovely clean room and very comfy bed. We stayed in room number 4. View was amazing overlooking lake windermere. Lots of helpful information given by the hosts on places if interest and where good to eat value for money.. we thank you both for an amazing few days. We shall be back. 😁
