Amazing time, fab place to stay in the heart of Bowness everything on your doorstep!

Kath was amazing, such an excellent host she literally went out her way to fulfill mine and my boys needs for our stay nothing was too much to ask, she was extremely helpful and it was really appreciated ☺️ we had an lovely weekend her property is lovely and had everything we needed we will hopefully return again soon!

Great location, very relaxed owners. The accommodation is seperate to the pub so very quiet but nice to be so close to the pub also. The staff were very helpful and accommodating for the whole stay.

The property is right in the middle of the town centre, the rooms are to a side building of the pub so you hear absolutely no pub noise! The pub is lovely we stopped in a few times for a nice drink! The rooms were very clean and very warm taking we were there over a storm it certainly didn’t feel like it from the room! On Saturday morning we walked around the corner to cafe No.4 one of the nicest brunches I have had was beautiful! Costa coffee located at the top of the road easy to grab a morning coffee. Car parking is only 150 yards away

Lovely short stay in warm, cosy, clean and friendly accommodation right in the centre of Bowness.

Lovely friendly landlady. The room was ready early and she was very welcoming. Smart and very clean, tidy room. There is a separate entrance to the rooms to the side of the pub which is also clean, well decorated and warm. Definitely value for money and more.

Great location, a spacious room with a lovely bathroom and very helpful staff.

It was right in the centre of Bowness near the Lake, lots of lovely restaurants and bars. The room was very spacious and we were well looked after by the staff. It was also good having a bar downstairs.

A lovely big room and bathroom with everything you need. The rooms are through the beer garden so nice and quiet when the pub is busy. Lovely owner and staff that couldn’t do enough for you. Would stay here again.

Great location within Bowness on Windermere. We only stayed for 2 nights but fully appreciated what the area had to offer. Kathy was a great host, very friendly, approachable and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spot on for us, very clean. It was great our little dog was with us as well, this was lovely.

Nothing we didn’t like, we enjoyed our little stay, but as expected parking the Car was a little awkward in this busy little town, but the available car parks are all close by.

Just perfect can't wait to come back

I was very pleasantly surprised at how lovely the property and garden area was for the money. Absolutely perfect location just mins walk from the lake, bars and restaurants yet not noisey I slept perfect really comfy bed. I always expect places that allow dogs to be abit shabby but you'd never know a dog had stayed there. It was lovely and clean. The owners and staff were really welcoming and couldn't do more Absolutely lovely people. I stayed for the weekend with my dog and child and will definitely stay here again.

Lovely rooms great location.

The rooms where spotless and freshly decorated the bed was comfy and the staff where great and the location is perfect for town and harbour area

On arrival it was quite off putting as the bar area which you walk through is in serious need of TLC which we couldn't understand because this place has so much potential with its location and layout, it could be absolutely beautiful or at the very least more appealing with just a fresh lick of paint.

Highly recommend Churchills

We loved our stay at Churchills, friendly, helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean. The shower room was excellent, and again, cleanliness was exceptional. Tea making facilities in the rooms. Outside seating areas were lovely, different areas to sit, some covered to shade from the elements and plenty of seats to sit in the sun. Friendly bar staff, music playing, not too loud, pool table and TV to watch the tennis on. A very short walk to the hustle and bustle of the town and lake area. A public carpark is just up the road from the hotel 2-3 minutes walk away. Payment is required. All in a great place to stay, we highly recommend. Great value for money. I will book again. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely location

Location was ideal. Close to shops and bars. Room was clean and suitable but don't leave window open midges can enter.

Unfortunately location and lack of parking is a worry as double yellows are everywhere. Food. No breakfast included.

Fantastic location near to everything in Bowness-on-Windermere. Good-size room with decent lighting.

No on-site parking, though the pay and display car park was <5 minutes walk away. The room was very hot during the night due to exceptionally hot weather and no air conditioning or fan.

Phenomenal stay at Bowness

Absolutely loved staying at Churchills. We checked in around midday and were greeted by exceptional, welcoming hosts. The property itself was great - phenomenal location, great amenities and squeaky clean. Couldn’t recommend it more - a massive thank you to the hosts for being so lovely and welcoming!
