Excellent hotel, staff, room, service, location

After an early flight we arrived at Marco Polo Airport to be greeted straight away by the pre arranged transfer by road taxi and then water taxi. All went perfectly. We arrived early and just expected to drop our bags and then come back at a later time however the team at reception had our room ready and allowed us early check in which was most welcome ! Luggage was taken care of and we were escorted to our room (split level suite with jacuzzi bath, sauna, steam room, basically everything). We have been to Venice around 5-6 times now and stayed in some really nice hotels but this one by far beats the others hands down. We will certainly be back on our next trip and would highly recommend the hotel, the friendly staff, the room, services etc our 3 night stay just went far too quickly!

Incredibly beautiful, One of the most beautiful places to be seen with the eyes.

Everything was wonderful, An experience I will remember for the rest of my life, The Staff, The location and the Vivaldi Concert was beautiful, St Marks Square was amazing, There really is so much to mention that I definitely will be making a return visit to Venice in the new year.

More time, That's all that would have made this trip even better, but for the time and duration of the stay I can't fault it. Wish you all well. :)

Magical

Staff members are extremely helpful and friendly, made us feel like we never left home. The hotel is clean and the room we had was outstanding and very clean. The location of the property is also perfect and again the staff made our stay as smooth as possible with no questions unanswered and they did their outmost to accommodate all of our needs (excursions, water taxied, romantic room setup etc).

The room was beautiful. The Bed was super comfy. Bonus - Bath on the mezanine!

The bar could have opened earlier in the day but it wasn't an issue as other options were available nearby.

Great location, wonderful staff and service.

The public spaces were very nice, especially the breakfast room. My bedroom was well furnished and well laid out. The bathroom was world class. I personally love staying on the Zattere and away from the crowds of Saint Marks.

The only windows in the bedroom were down at the floor level, which made the room feel very Claustrophobic, and the air got stuffy.

Great location in Dorsoduro! The staff were very helpful in suggesting places to eat, the room was lovely, overlooking the small canal behind the hotel. The bar staff were all extremely knowledgeable and created excellent drinks.

Hotel was in a good location away from touristy part of Venice and quiet.

This hotel was another example of misleading advertising. It is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Not sure who decides this rating. It’s impossible to find. The sign on the wall is tiny, dark bronze and unreadable from more than a 25cm away. There are 2 pot plants at an entrance that is unclear leads to a hotel because it looks like a sitting area. The lush plants are plastic, the murano lighting plastic, the lounge area like a waiting room and not a place to enjoy refreshments. The bar is small and right across from check in area and lacks the cool bar vibe hotel tries to create. The dark underlit hallways with dark grey carpet, walls and tile stairs are simply dark and not the cool New York vibe of the 2000’s it seeks to achieve. Everything is faux. The decor in my room was not hardwood floors, it was engineered laminate, the chairs and headboard in shiny silver was pleather, the faux black and silver furniture was plastic or some other material. The bathroom has nowhere to put your toiletries. There was no closet, just hangers on a rail. Coffee and tea facilities were provided but cups were plastic. Had to ring for pillows, blankets and shower mat that other 4.5 hotels already provide in the room. It was a joke. In the list of amenities it included toilet paper. Seriously, what hotel says that? This is another hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel but is a 3 star hotel with furnishings seem to come from online. It’s insulting to guests and misleading advertising. As seen often in Italy, it’s the staff that have to carry the burden of complaints. I won’t stay here again for the above reasons. Lacks class and honesty. They don’t deserve my money.

The most amazing breakfast daily. Very comfortble beds and beautiful bathroom. Great air conditioning and nice views of Venice. Did not get a canal view but was still nice. Very nice outdoor seating area too.

When other guests would slam their doors you could hear it from our room, but it wasn't the worst thing, just a minor inconvenience that happens at hoels sometimes.

Beautiful hotel, would stay again

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Whoever cleaned our room did an excellent job. air conditioning was excellent. I loved the location. Easy to get to from the train station via 2b vaporetto, overlooking Guidecca, which made a beautiful setting on the evening and away from the crowds. Breakfast selection was good.

The price of drinks. The is a bar outside…go there or check prices before ordering.

Palazzo Veneziano is gorgeous, but the real standout is the team. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make our trip special. Combine that with elegant rooms, a great location, and fantastic breakfast, and you’ve got the perfect Venetian getaway!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city

Palazzo Veneziano was excellent from minute one. Our water taxi from the airport was able to dock right outside the hotel so no luggage hauling through the city. We were met by friendly desk staff that gave us water, a map, a place to freshen up until our room was ready, and held our luggage while we went out and explored. Our room was beautiful with a gorgeous view, as was the hotel and the garden area. The breakfast was great everyday with different types of croissants, cakes, cappuccinos, champagne. Even my son who is almost impossible to get up for hotel breakfasts was up and ready to go at 730am. The hotel arranged our trip back to the airport as well and it was seamless.

A very good hotel at a location very convenient for us. It was a blissfully silent room too.

Breakfast food array could have been better. Unless you like hard boiled eggs it was semi warm scrambled eggs or nothing apart from overcooked almost cold poached blocks. The room for consuming your food was diagonally opposite the room where you loaded your plate, a less than ideal relationship and the eating room was very busy and somewhat cramped. Staff struggled to keep on top of the voracious demands of your guests. In the bathroom, as usual there are no hooks for hanging wet towels, etc. The shower was excellent but with no hand rails it meant a perilous journey from the shower head to dry land.

Exceptional reception staff at a beautiful hotel

The Hotel was located perfectly for us, with a nice walk every day/evening to St Marks & Rialto. The staff at reception were exceptionally helpful, always helping us with information and booking water taxis. I was unwell on the last day and they looked after me by making me a hot water with lemon and honey, and gave me some rice cakes, even offering me a blanket whilst waiting in reception for our transport back to the airport. It was very clean and our room was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay in good location

Customer service from front desk was excellent especially in regard to parking and getting to the hotel. Housekeeping excellent- impressed they gave 3 items each in the room recognising there were 3 of us. Bed extremely comfy Loved the coloured lights in the bathroom

Breakfast choices were limited No choices of eggs offered Yogurt pots instead of Greek yogurt and only a bowl of cut up fruit which was mainly apple instead of slices of fresh melon, orange etc which I would have expected at this rating of hotel. The lighting above the bed was oddly positioned and too bright. Not having personal control of the air con and having to phone reception to change the temperature was annoying. Not having a mirror on the dressing table to put make up on. The hotel is nice but improvements could be made to improve the customer experience.

Stunning Venice hotel

Absolutely beautiful hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff, nothing was a problem for them. The front entrance is right on the waterfront of the grand canal where you can get a water taxi but we preferred to walk, easy to walk about from the hotel to everywhere. Fantastic buffet breakfast, huge choice of continental and some hot dishes , would definitely stay here again, rooms were lovely and spotless hotel in good location.

Very enjoyable and we would recommend the hotel.

Staff friendly, room very clean and bed was comfy. The walk-in shower was powerful and spacious. The location was great, 15 mins walk from main bus station taking us to and from airport. There was the public water taxi system a 3 min walk away and walking into San Marco took only 10 mins, great location. The breakfast provided a good range of fruit, cheese, pastries etc., but it could have provided a few more hot choices. I did ask for an omelette which they made fresh, so that was a nice touch.

Hotel offers free trip to Murano glass factory in a private water taxi. Interesting tour but the pressure to buy from the factory was extremely overwhelming. It took 3 attempts to leave the factory and the prices the factory quote drop dramatically at the point when they realise you want to go, asking you to come back inside for another chat with a different person! The cost of the pieces are over-inflated, dropping by 1,000 Euros for the same piece. Hindsight - we should have arranged our own tour. We did buy a piece of Murano glass in Venice, so it was a shame the factory acted in this way.
