Beautiful accommodation in a lovely part of the city

The hotel was beautiful, historic and charming building, very cute. Perfect location in the Dorsodouro region. It was quick to walk to all other areas of the city. The area the hotel is in is perfect as it is a bit quieter than more central areas, but still close enough to be able to access all the sights. The room itself was fantastic - very comfortable bed, and the spa bath was a real treat with views of the canal. We ate in the Casin dei Nobili restaurant once during our stay and the food was fantastic and reasonably priced - with a lovely friendly ambience. Staff at the hotel were very attentive and helpful, giving recommendations of local places to visit and where to eat. Lara was available for any questions we had during our stay. We would definitely return here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect about the stay. Couldn’t fault it. Staff were helpful, responsive and friendly, the breakfast was great and the room was exactly what you’d want for a couple needing to relax and be comfortable :) it had everything we needed to enjoy Venice ! Perfect location too!

A B&B with a 5 star hotel experience!

Where do I start. From the beginning, Lara was so very helpful and proactive. Any questions I had before and after I made our booking she answered and was always so gracious & patient. Our room was fantastic, comfortable bed, heated floors, hot tub for two, our room #203 felt more like our own apartment with the extra room to store suitcases. Claudia and Lara provided us with a wonderful breakfast every morning with lovely jazz playing, a dining area that always offered snacks, pastries, coffees, teas, crackers, etc. Any questions and assistance with bookings of water taxis, restaurant recommendations, the list goes on and on. I was interested in Casin Dei Nobili mainly based on the fact that we do not speak Italian and the reviews of how wonderful & helpful the staff is why I booked it. Lara and staff did not disappoint. The neighborhood of this B&B was wonderful and a nice get away from all the tourist areas. We found in this neighborhood the best gelato, cafe latte and some of the best restaurants! This neighborhood of Dorsoduro is a 3 min walk to a supermarket, a 6 minute walk to the Bridge of Academia, a 30min walk to Fondamente Nove to take the water bus to Burano/Murano, a 2 minute walk to The Peggy Guggenheim Museum and St. Marks Square about 20mins. They also have their own Family restaurant that was wonderful. This is a family run business that is one of the best places we have stayed at. This is a B&B with a Five Star hotel experience. Their attention to detail is fantastic. Thank you Lara, Claudia and staff!

There is nothing to mention, just an awareness that there are 2 flights of stairs to your room, but Lara had her staff assisted us with our luggage.

Fantastic!

Wonderful place and the host Lara is exceptional! She reviewed Venice and what to do and also helped us with water taxis on last day and breakfast to go since we were leaving early. Room was nice. Clean and very nice amenities. Location is quite. Breakfast was wonderful. Easy walk to water bus (2 minutes) and 10 minutes to Academy Bridge. Casin Dei Nobili is small only 3 or 4 rooms so if you want a quit place and a intimate feel this is the pace to go. Great place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Venice.

Everything! Lara greeted us immediately as we walked up. (Be sure to go to the restaurant and she will take you to the bnb behind/above it.) there was no noise whatsoever from outside or the restaurant. The breakfast spoiled us for our entire Italy trip. We would absolutely stay here again. Stop looking and just book it!

We never figured out how to get the spa in our room to heat the water and it wouldn’t fill up completely with hot water before it ran out. So we sadly didn’t get to use it.

Unforgettable trip for our anniversary made special by Lara and the team at Casin Dei Nobili. Not to be missed.

What can I say the room was fantastic - a really sympathetic renovation with a modern feel. High ceilings with wooden beams, wooden flooring, classic wooden shutters. A modern bathroom with whirlpool bath along with A/C unit. Massive bed, smart TV, mini bar, loads of hangers for clothes and loads of little touches to numerous to list. Lots of info from Lara about where to go and what to do as well. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of options. To call this a bed and breakfast does not do it justice. Convenient for everything you might want to do in Venice - water bus stop 3 min walk (No1 route and also an airport stop, Ca’ Rezzonico) - 15 min walk to Rialto Bridge, St Marks Square, St Marks Basillica and Doges Palace. - 20 min walk from train station ( although I wouldn’t recommend it if you have large cases!!) - Surrounded by loads of restaurants ( although don’t miss the property’s restaurant!!!)

B&B Cason Dei Nobili is a hidden gem!

We really liked the location of B&B from the perspective of being close to the Vaporetto station and close to good ristorante, etc.

Honestly, the steps were rather tough, especially having been always in excess of 24hours. But, once we made it to the top, our accommodations were terrific. Lara helped make us feel well cared for!

A pied a terre in busy Venice

Quietly located in Venice, B&B with three rooms and a jacuzzi on the second floor. There's a common area with a table, kitchen, and terrace adjacent to the three rooms. Everything is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Breakfast is served on the terrace of the restaurant on the ground floor. Every morning each guest gets a personal scroll with a spell, a nice gift before setting off. The breakfast is extensive and varied. The hostess answers all your questions and provides tips for your excursions. A very pleasant experience. We had a lovely stay.

Breakfast was excellent, featuring items served to us and an extensive buffet that included hot items (omelet and scrambled eggs). The location of the B&B was ideal--away from the busiest parts of Venice but within walking distance of the various attractions. Host was very gracious and provided us with lots of helpful information, dining suggestions, etc. We enjoyed the 2 person jacuzzi in our room each night after touring Venice all day. We also spent a good bit of time on the porch off of the main area outside of our room.

B&B Casin Dei Nobili is a wonderful property at Campo San Barnaba in the Dorsoduro section of Venice. Lara and her staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable with a canal view and the welcomed bonus of an oversized jacuzzi style tub to soothe those tired muscles after walking 17,000 steps each day while exploring the beauty of Venice. The complimentary breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious with many choices while served in their excellent restaurant downstairs. Everything about B&B Casin Dei Nobili exceeded our expectations and we would heartily recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Venice.

Beautiful B&B in great location, helpful staff will meet any need

The location of the B&B was perfect, on a beautiful square where several movies have been filmed. We enjoyed the gelato place a few steps from the entry pathway. It’s about a 2 minute walk to the public boat taxi that runs up and down the grand canal. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. Lara, Angela and staff will assist with any need, including transfer from airport. There is a great little place for drinks and snacks located nearby, across the canal from the squero, so you can watch the workers repair gondolas.

So much thought, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent hospitality has been put into this place and the experience provided to guests. The room was spacious and clean, with thoughtful touches to make things more comfortable. The staff were wonderful, kind consummate hosts. Breakfast was delicious and generous. perfect place for first timers in venice who dont want to feel authentic venice

the host Lara is a nice mix of assistance without feeling invasive. always available instantly to answer questions on whatapp at any time . She gave us great recommendations and made our reservations for us at perfect restauraunts , including at their family restauraunt downstairs which was amazing . the breakfast was sumptuous to say the least and cappuccino and pastry were delicious. she left us pastry to snack on at night too! The building is a 15 century shell beautifully restored and renovated with a perfect sense of modern design up against antique preservation. the bathroom , bed, linens, sofa and roominess were all lovely . theres also plenty of room to spread out. the windows look out on a quiet classical venetian canal . i am not a bed and breakfast person but i would definitely return here because the balance of assistance and quality of the space and location was perfect . thank you Lara for making our first visit to venice perfect ! we will see you again!
