beautiful location and very friendly staff. Within walking distance of vaporetto stops.
Breakfast offers enough food, but little variation. Boring after 5 days. For example same cake every day. Fruit was available but not ripe, so not to eat.

From the moment we arrived we knew this was a very special hotel. The beauty of the common areas and location was only exceeded by the hotel’s magnificent staff. As others have noted in their reviews, Samuele and Martina are superb. Their warm caring professionalism is unmatched in today’s hospitality industry. No question or challenge went unanswered and was done with such cheerful optimism. We had some health challenges and their care made the difference in our trip to Venice being an absolute success when it initially was headed in the opposite direction.
I also want to mention the restaurant, having enjoyed delicious and substantial breakfasts each morning. We also had the pleasure of having two fantastic dinners is the quaint, cozy restaurant looking out on the Guidecca canal.
We can’t wait to return!

A gem of a hotel in my favourite area of Venice. You can reach the Zattere in 90 minutes from the airport, by water bus. This is a wonderful old hotel, with a really friendly team. My room was a single one, so I knew it would be small, but the bed was extremely comfortable and the view over the Giudecca was a delight. I had a delicious dinner in the restaurant on my first night. I wish I could have stayed for longer.
