Excellent location. Lovely, helpful staff, including helping to carry bags up. Huge comfy bed. Great bathroom with robes. Cool chandelier in the room with high ceilings. Staff remade the bed when we were out. Some view of the water. Walkable to St Mark's Square. We could store our bags on the day we checked out by leaving them in the room. Would definitely stay again.
Some stale water smell outside one window when it was open. Otherwise no problems.

This hotel was fabulous. The location was perfect, right on the lagoon with the vaporetto boat-bus just yards away. The staff was super helpful and friendly, always greeting us with a smile and willing to answer any and all of the mundane tourist questions. There are several parlors decorated in vintage style throughout the hotel which made you feel like you were part of a different era. The bedroom was clean, quite large, and very comfortable. Many restaurants and cafes are very close walking distance from the hotel.

I would not book this accommodation again. wifi was hit and miss. No tea & coffee making facilities in room.
