Good value for money

The location Is Great, garden and lobby also.

Stayed on the first floor near the stairs and it’s very noisy. So I would recommend to ask the staff and not stay in the 1st floor room.

Very good place to stay in Venice

Location is central in Venice. clean place, amazing breakfast, and very gentle staff. The room was functional and nice. The building is historical and perfect for a short stay in Venice. I recommend it to others.

You can hear noise coming from the other rooms or corridors of the buildings. Some mornings, there was noise coming from the boat of the nearby canal, because the windows are not acoustically isolated very well. The bed mattress was a bit rigid, and the pillow was very thin.

A perfect stay with a stellar team

Beautiful setting, huge and immensely comfortable suite, brilliant location, excellent breakfasts, but above all this, the wonderful staff. We experienced exemplary service from every single team member, which went above and beyond when we needed to engage a doctor - special shout-out to concierge Andrea who arranged for his own GP to make a house call. We loved our stay, and would heartily recommend Villa Maravege to anyone visiting bella Venezia.

Breakfast was great. Location was perfect. Two rooms were great.

I had a dirty pillow case with dead mosquitoes splat on it. It made me think it had not been changed between guests. a replacement pillowcase was offered but no apology or offer given.

Lovely hotel in a wonderful setting.

Location was wonderful, 5 minute walk to vaporetto and a nice area to explore, away from the crowded St. Mark’s square. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices.

Our room was small, 135 sq feet, challenging for two adults with two large suitcases. Price of over $300 a night was pricey for us but I’m sure that’s due to it being Venice.

Very lovely stay!

We had a marvelous stay, arrived by boat taxi and this hotel is immediately of the grand canal. The staff was friendly and professional, the gentleman in the restaurant/breakfast room is adorable. The location is in my opinion one of the best, close to everything yet a few meters off the touristic path.

The beds are good but very firm and could use a softer mattress top. Its of course a question of personal preference and nothing wrong per se.

Absolutely would stay here again!

I loved my stay at this delightful hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, explaining where we should go to explore and helping us get a water taxi to the airport. The location was perfect and made it very easy to wander Venice. I would absolutely recommend this lovely hotel when you come to Venice!

Lovely well appointed hotel in Venice, it felt very regal.

The hotel is just off the grand canal in Accademia. Not as busy as the San which we appreciated. The room we had was beautiful and looked out on the back gardens. There are gardens in front and back as well as an area to dine outside. The staff was lovely and the breakfast every morning was excellent. Will definitely book this hotel again in the future.

Great property with beautiful gardens we loved our stay wish it was longer so we could have enjoyed it more but the Dolomites were calling!

+ Located in a very elegant and calm sestiere of Venice - Dorsoduro, a couple of minutes from Accademia stop of vaporetti. + It's a charming villa with a historical feel which has a lovely garden (therefore, especially recommended for stays in summer/spring/autumn) + My single room was tiny but very practical (a safety-box, a mini-bar, a kettle, wifi worked well). Comfortable bed. The view was great: you could even see a little part of Canal Grande. + Tasty varied breakfast + Friendly staff + The price is Venetian but reasonable. Recommended!

Nice hotel with great location and good breakfast buffet.

Great location for Academia and the ACTV stop. Not far from St. Mark’s. Great breakfast buffet and comfortable rooms. Really ins with a view available. First floor was very quiet thanks to a foyer door you could close. Had a safe and outdoor lounging areas with a garden. Room had character. Not corporate minimalism.

No English speaking tv stations. Not even BBC
