Nice sitting area on each floor. Rooms are fairly large. Staff were extremely helpful . Beware, there are blackout sheets in windows so you don’t have any idea when sun comes up which could cause you to oversleep. Prefer a top sheet and blanket instead of a comforter only. AC inadequate.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location with two water taxi stops nearby but it is also an easy walk to the other areas of the city. There were some nice options for food and drink locally as well. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay was FANTASTIC! The renovation of the property is EXTREMELY sophisticated in terms of architectural details + design. I would like to acknowledge the quality/result of that protect because it’s quite unique in its style, elegance not in-your-face-lucury Service was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic. Bedroom and bathroom were very beautiful and spotless. I was generously upgraded to a corner room with lots of light and tall ceilings. Grazie! Location is wonderful. Dorsoduro has major sights (my window looked right across to the Accademia) and the Ponte della Accademia is half a block away which will get you to San Marco sestiere in two seconds, as is the Vaporetto stop. So THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!

The room was very, very dark, no natural light whatsoever, facing what seems to be a noisy kitchen or service area of another hotel. Not a nice place to stay because of the darkness. I would advise the management to be more transparent about this at booking.

This was a very unique, eclectic hotel in the Dosudoro neighborhood of Venice. For a truly enjoyable and satisfying stay, stay here. The service was impeccable. The morning Buffett breakfast was outstanding. It had a beautiful roof top terrace, sauna, and was within walking distance of many restaurants and museums and a short walk or Vaporetto ride to San Marco square. Staff provided information or could arrange tours for you if desired. I highly recommend.

A gorgeous hotel with tons of amenities and space. The location is quiet and doesn’t have a lot of dining or entertainment options around, but there are some good restaurants within walking distance and the water taxi stop is a quick walk down the street. The value for the money is great and I wish I could have stayed there longer.

hotel is clean and quiet. Most staff are very nice. Here's When we arrived after a long trip, we asked the receptionist whether the hotel was air conditioned & he replied that it was. In fact, the lobby area was reasonably cool. however our (two) rooms--and several other rooms on our floor--registered 27 Celsius--(80.6 F) way too hot. With another couple we complained and were told that the a/c was not working but would be repaired in the morning. One of us was offered a fan. Even with the fan the room was not comfortable and we did not have a good night's sleep. The next day the hotel was able to adjust the thermostat and the room then measured showed 24 Celsius (75.2 F). This is not cool, at least by American standards. The one room with a fan was better than the others but hardly comfortable give the extreme heat and humidity outside. To not sleep at all upon arrival was, to stay the least, distressing. An aggressive response was not We wrote complaining to Expedia; the management became defensive and accused us of lying. In fact, no one lied. We asked if the hotel was air conditioned and the manager said yes. And it was---on the lobby floor. But we were not informed that the upstairs a/c was not working and we were then too tired to change hotels. We should have been forewarned and given the option to change hotels. The other staff were nice and in fact someone left bottles of prosecco for us. But two nights of poor sleep could have been avoided.

Amazing gem of a hotel. Beautifully appointed room and common areas. Courteous and very helpful staff. Loved the art deco decors. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable!!! Bathroom was a nice size and had all the amenities you would want. 20 minutes walking distance to San Marco Square or Rialto Bridge. Many restaurants and shops within close walking distance. Highly recommend!!!
