An excellent and very grand property in a great location an at a good price.

The building was very grand and very old world Venetian. Really lovely common areas to sit in. Staff were lovely, location was terrific. An unexpected treat was an absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced breakfast each morning. We absolutely loved our stay.

The only small criticism was the beds were quite hard. There were a lot of stairs but the staff were very helpful with luggage.

A memorable visit to Venice, made more enjoyable for the opportunity to stay at Palazzetto Pisani on the Grand Canal.

It is a unique hotel with history and class. Located on the Grand Canal, one can have the experience of a Venetian for the duration of the visit. Facing South, we had warm sunshine streaming into room through the day. The staff were wonderful and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Situated between St Mark’s Square and Rialto, both of which are within easy walking distance.

Overall everything was as expected

Staying in Executive Suite Grand Canal for one more night. Fact that it was an old building form 1800 century unbelievable. Near to transportation to wherever i did needed to go.

Climbing staircases, i guess they want to keep the building as it is, old fashion way.

Beautiful place to stay and have a little taste of the antic Venice.

Room were big and spacious, nice natural lighting, non city view like it is mentioned on the description but it was ok, Location was great, very close to everything, including transportation. Breakfast was very good we tried the first morning. Personal from the restaurants were excellent! Services and attention 10/10... We stayed 3 nights, personal at night time was not very nice, when you get there, tired after a long trip you have a lot of questions they were not very happy to answered.

Sooo many stairs to get to the bedrooms, I think this has to be told from the beginning, I have an issue on my hips and it was very difficult to get back to my bedroom thinking to go out again, plus stairs need to be fixed to make it more even.

Overpriced but good location but don't drink the reused bottled water

The location was great and the views amazing. Had a whole apartment to ourselves.

The broken toilet seat and there was a rat outside our main entrance area. Asked for a bottle of water and didn't notice at first but after pouring second glass saw that there was lipstick on the rim I told staff but they was adamant it was just from the machine they use to refill the bottle which it clearly wasn't then the manager saw it and said they use the bottles for breakfast and just refil them which don't get washed in between . It's disgusting that they reuse bottles and risk people drinking out of the bottles. Health risk at that!! Disgusting. Overpriced for what it was

Authentic Venician stay

Breathtaking hotel, absolutely beautiful dining/lounge area and very authentic.

We apparently booked the smallest room - which was very small. So stark contrast to the beautiful extravagant lavishness that meets you when entering the hotel otherwise. Next time we will opt for a bigger room with more comfort.

Freezing showers and noisy rooms!

The location was good

Our first night we were placed in a room right on the stairs above the kitchen. It was so noisy you could not sleep. The shower was also cold. When we asked about the shower we were told the “lukewarm” he managed to get it too was normal. We moved rooms the second night and we still had a cold shower. For the money this cost us it was a terrible stay and effected our trip to Venice.

The views from piano room to Grand Canal perfect. Location

Not welcoming. Room allocated was poor. The private bathroom had a shower next to bed with curtains draping around it, toilet in cupboard in corner this was for so called privacy. Told this was room type we had booked, however nowhere in my booking history did the shower and toilet debacle appear. We were made to feel uncomfortable when we asked to change rooms. There was never anyone around the 2nd floor lounge area-to ask for Tea or Coffee. No direction on what to do in Pisa or map. Blatantly told Pisa is a walking City.

Beautiful intimate hotel with stunning views over the grand canal.

Stunning property, very characterful, small & intimate. Amazing views over the grand canal from the hotel lounge where there are a couple of small balconies where you can sit and enjoy a drink. Service was exceptional. We arrived in a water taxi right up to the side canal entrance of the property which was a wonderful way beginning our stay. The hotel was conveniently located to pick up the vaparetto too only a short walk Fromm the Academia bridge. I would highly recommend staying here if you like a much more intimate setting away from the crowds.

Wife loved the room and the direct view on the canal.

The restaurant chef was sick. The replacement chef was not able to offer the whole menu. But in reality… it made no difference. The staff were honest about it and apologized for the inconvenience. They pointed us to a different restaurant that was great.

Fantastic romantic Venice stay

Location view over the Grand Canal. Room was huge, would call it an apartment. Staff were great. Great breakfast. This is a stay somewhere completely different from what you normally call a hotel. We arrived by water taxi from the airport. Best arrival ever. Plank comes down and arrive in a Venice Palace.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the Grand Canal.

The hotel is stunning with gorgeous views of the Grand Canal. The common rooms and suites are all beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The staff were all very attentive and professional with helpful advice about local restaurants, things to do, transportation, etc. I would choose to stay at this hotel if I visit Venice again.

Wonderful, historic hotel

Very historic hotel, which is exactly what we were looking for. Our room had an amazing view of the water. One of the rooms was at a crazy slant but honestly we enjoyed the quirkiness. Shower was super nice. Beds were nice. Breakfast was great! They have honeycomb which was delicious and unique.

Luckily I read reviews beforehand and knew they don't have an elevator, so it's not the best place for everyone. My parents are nearly 70 with slight mobility issues and they were able to make it, but it was a struggle. We thought it was worth it.

Wonderful stay with so much charm in the heart of Venice.

We loved our room at this hotel, it was one of our favourites on the trip. We were really happy with the location, it was close to everything without being in a very touristy area. The restaurant was stunning and we had a very special meal there on our first night overlooking the grand canal. The decor was perfect, was so nice having a larger room with space, natural light and large open windows. The shower was also large and had wonderful pressure. A nice little surprise was that there is a music school next door and the room is filled with beautiful music in the afternoons.

Not a complaint, but a heads up! Lots of stairs to get to your room and also can be challenging to find on foot, would recommend taxi boat to arrive.

Good location and beautifully appointed but be aware of the staircases if you are a mature traveler.

Room was amazing, exceeding our expectations and actually was two rooms. It was very well furnished with a large comfortable bathroom.It was on the ground floor and easy to access. The common rooms of the Palazzo are beautiful and you can request to dine on the small balcony overlooking the Grand Canal if you are just a couple. The breakfast was amazing - beautifully displayed and very tasty. Service excellent.

I will offer a cautionary note, which, if you are a mature traveller, you need to be aware. While there is a small elevator, it does serve all floors so to reach the common rooms for breakfast and dining, you must navigate two substantial stairways. There is NO secure handrail. There is only a velvet rope looped through a ring which is no help at all. If you are young and strong it will not be a concern and as I said the facility is beautiful and worth the climb.

A dreamy palace at an extremely convenient location

Great location, just a few minute walk from Academia Vaporetto stop. At the same time very quiet, as it is not on one of the main streets. I like how it's sort of hidden. The size of the apartment is enormous for Venice - we have tried several hotels, this one was by far the largest. Perfectly working air conditioning, super comfortable beds, very helpful reception where they advise as needed and they can arrange plenty of other services the hotel offers.

No matter how hard I think, nothing comes to mind.

gorgeous property - with modern conveniences - love the old world feel- dinner in the parlor overlooking the canal was terrific….the bartender/waiter was exceptional; breakfast staff were friendly and attentive; and the two receptionists were lovely and very helpful with every question….
