its like living in a palace. class and luxury everywhere. stylish, in a perfect spot. quality everywhere. breakfast room a dream. view to the grand canal amazing
THe concierge. too much confidence, like i do that for ages i know. we asked for dinner recommendation were send to a money trap. they only offered the most expensive since they knew we stayed in an expensive place. the worse. we asked for the casino, he send us there paying a taxi of 90 euros. even checked if we had passports with us. nice. and when we arrived it was closed opened 4 hour later. even that i can excuse. not even an apology when i complained i cant excuse. a bad exception in an otherwise perfect place

Good breakfast. Very Friendly staff. Good location - quiet and private. They helped me with my early check-in request. Concierge friendly, but wouldn't say they are overly informed about how to put a proactive itinery together. They did give good choices of restaurants. Thank Goodness for Gemini! :-).
I shared that it was my wife's 50 th birthday - But on arrival no mention of it, in spite of champagne I ordered in room. Nothing done by staff to make it special. Rooms are average - the pictures show bigger rooms. Our room was very dark with view on the building outside. Delayed responses to my e-mail requests before arrival - Got too many messages from too many people and didn't always know who to go to as central point of contact.
I was super excited about the hotel before arrival. Considering the price tag and status re who has been there, I was willing to pay premium price for my wife's 50 th birthday. I left loving Venice, but not being over enthused by the hotel. A pity.
