Ca' San Trovaso - 6 Rooms

Location in Dorsoduro was ideal for exploring the area nearby. Staff was helpful with dining recommendations. A lounge with coffee or tea options was very nice. Vouchers for breakfast helped us find pastry options.

Everything met or exceeded our recommendations. We had no dislikes. The room rates were comparable to others in Venice, Italy.

Good location, very beautiful building and excellent staff.

The location was excellent, and communication with the host was outstanding. I received helpful transportation recommendations before arriving, which made our journey much smoother. The property was also easy to reach by taxi from the airport, which I found especially convenient when visiting Venice, as many streets are not accessible by car. From the taxi drop-off point, it was only an 8-minute walk to the hotel, which was very manageable and well worth it. The host was extremely helpful and responsive to all my questions, and even provided numerous recommendations without being asked, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Also had a nice view from the room.

It was a nice quiet area of Venice, away from the busy tourist areas. After a few days of exploring, it is not that far from the grand canal so the public water bus system.

It is not advisable to try & walk from the bus station to the property if you have luggages as there are a lot of bridges to cross over & you have lift suitcases for each one! There is no lift so we had to carry our suitcases over 2 steep flights of stairs. Also there is no tv in the room & breakfast was average (1 x small croissant & a coffee)
