We had a truly lovely stay at Palazzo Guardi and would happily return.
The room was charming and very comfortable, with a cozy bed that ensured a great night’s sleep after long days of exploring Venice. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere had that classic Venetian character we were hoping for.
The hotel offers 24-hour reception, which was very convenient and reassuring. The staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with something for everyone, a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the city.
The location in Dorsoduro is excellent: quiet and elegant, yet with quick and easy access to San Marco. It’s just steps away from Gallerie dell’Accademia and Ponte dell’Accademia, and surrounded by shops, restaurants, cafés, and museums. A perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility.
Overall, a very pleasant experience in a beautiful part of Venice. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in the Dorsoduro district in a historic building, which is a little difficult to find because the entrance is on a narrow street, but the location is very convenient, with a vaporetto stop nearby and easy access to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. The hotel also has an elevator. The room was spacious enough, the beds were comfortable, and it was cleaned regularly. The room has a coffee maker, and water is replenished every day. Breakfast is varied. We were there during the Venice Carnival, but there was no noise at all.

Not keen on reception being in a seperate building and in the building where our accomodation was there was no lift.

Location quite good, few minutes walking distance to Grand Canal, Vaporetto station.
Bed quite good.
Underneath our suite located a restaurant with all of his disadvantages: late noises,music,stinky kichen.
Size of suite quite small,the room is dark, top light in the bathroom didn' work,steam went didn' work or just on really poor level.
Bed sheets smelled unpleasantly and actually were replaced because of stinky parfume sprayed on it by staff?!
Breakfest average,if something went empty, had to ask to fill it up. But is was only one person to do the breakfast, clean up after, clean the rooms, so she was really buzy. She spoke only italian but it was negligible problem.
Fustiness everywhere, don't know is generally situation in Venice or especially here.
Check in/out in an another building, upstairs. Not confortable.
Overwhelming overpriced for this conditions.
