Ca Pagan is a beautiful Hotel in Venice

A beautiful gem of a hotel nicely situated within walking distance of all amenities and attractions. Lia on reception gave us such a warm welcome. As soon as you step inside Ca Pagan it has a certain warmth and splendour neatly packaged in a perfectly laid out compact interior. Everything is sparkling and smells beautifully clean. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast boasted a variety of freshly baked croissants, eggs, meats, cheese, yogurt, fruit, toast, tea, coffee & orange juice. The staff couldn’t do enough to look after us Lia, Gita & David who texted us prior to our trip with invaluable advice on how best to travel from the airport to the hotel. I highly recommend Ca Pagan and give a special thanks to Lia for making our Venice experience so fantastic 💙

Very easy access to water bus service, a cute square with great restaurants nearby (including our fav of the whole trip), very safe and secure and easy to find, quiet area, great neighborhoods to explore. Room was beautiful, luxurious, and comfortable, perfect size for the two of us, plus a shared sitting room that we didn’t use but would have been fun if we could’ve stayed longer. We love the character of this place—we’re not interested in a cold, minimalist, modern aesthetic, but an historical, creative, regal one. The beautiful brass taps in the bathroom were an inside joke for us the rest of our trip: they turn like butter! That’s real quality!

I’ve seen others complain about no view from the room window, but I find every window view in Venice enchanting! If you don’t like the view, walk 50m and you’ll have a different, perfect view! We had better breakfasts (quality and heartiness) elsewhere on our trip, but it was nice to have it included, and was a perfectly fine start to our day. The staff’s friendliness and personalized service more than made up for it :)

Perfect quite

I booked the Ca’ Pagan - however was located in the San Maurizio Luxury Suite - the staff moved my bags to the other hotel and it was such a beautiful stay. The team were incredibly helpful and I couldn’t have asked for more. this suite was large, clean, comfortable bed and luxury bathroom

Staff / Manager was so friendly and nice, we had a great feeling immediately. The location is absolutely perfect, you can easily explore all of venice from there by foot if you want to (which we recommend). Breakfast was tasty and cozy.

An unexpected gem of a place to stay.

Lia was very welcoming and very helpful accommodating our early arrival, and giving us some clear ideas about where to go and how to get there. The accommodation itself was atmospheric and comfortable too.

Central location. Buffet Breakfast was healthy & substantial, free to choose whatever we wanted. Reception service was welcoming when we arrived at stupid o’clock in the morning, waited outside hotel for our arrival. The downstairs library was disappointing !

Signage to/from the hotel could be more prominent. Can be difficult to find on dark evenings.

Excellent location superb staff , clean , safe and welcoming.

Location is ideal , excellent jewellery shop a few doors up from the hotel . If you’re looking for genuine unique designs definitely worth checking out . Rooms are comfortable and the lady on reception/ breakfast is just wonderful. Very safe area . We arrived late 12:30 am water taxi was our only option . Took bus returning to airport €10 excellent value , 25 minutes walk from hotel. Very clean too.

Bathroom door is a bit fiddly, lock could be replaced. Otherwise it’s absolutely perfect & we would stay again .

A romantic getaway with my husband to visit Venice

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile — they truly made the stay feel special, Lia and David cannot thank you enough!!!The cleanliness of the entire property, from the lobby to the rooms, was outstanding. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Great location, Great staff, Great stay!

The staff, Lia and David, were wonderfully accommodating. The facility was beautifully decorated, including the junior suite. The period furnishings were a lovely touch. The breakfast was very satisfying and, again, the staff was very attentive. The San Samuele vaporetto stop is 40 meters away...extremely convenient for a waterbus ride to San Marco's. Walking around Venice is such a delight, even with the summer crowds. The neighborhood is less congested and great for a late night romantic stroll among the small bridges and canals of the San Samuele neighborhood and beyond.

Honestly, I can't think of a thing. I am pretty fussy considering I owned a "real" bed and breakfast in North Carolina (not an air B&B) and so I have somewhat high standards. Ca' Pagan gets it right...unquestionably.

Great location but mediocre hotel.

Location was great, right next to one of the water boat stops. So was easy to get in the water boat and go to places.

Staff were okay. Some not overly friendly. Rooms AC started making clicking sounds and woke me up. TV was a little too small but did have Netflix etc. Property is very dated and rooms are not very spacious but manageable.

Perfect for our 3 night Venice stay.

Lovely hotel in Venetian style, great location with a waterbus stop 50 metres away and a second stop a short 5 minute walk away. Excellent, helpful, informative, friendly staff. Fantastic continental breakfast. All the attractions are near by within walking distance, or of course take the waterbus. Absolutely recommended!

Location was fantastic. Room was great. The room adjacent to our bedrooms was a fantastic room for all 5 of us to meet and socialise.

The only down side was the air conditioning in our room had a leak during our last night which woke me up at 1:30am and kept me awake a few hours trying to dry the bedding which was wet from the leak. The only other minor thing we found was the lounge room we used to have a gathering before and after going out had a timer on the lights which went out every 30 seconds to a few minutes. We tried using our room key cards but that didn’t work. Might be an idea to let people in rooms 7 & 8 have a key to keep the lights on in lounge.

Rooms were excellent, exactly as in the photos, everything worked and was well kept. The staff were so so friendly and truthfully we didn't want to leave. The location was perfect and we were lucky to get the balcony. We are already planning another visit and would happily stay here again.

The perfect stylish Venetian get away in a quiet but central location

Decor of the room was spectacular and the reason we booked the hotel (we wanted typical 'old' Venetian style. I had said it was my husband's special birthday and we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and petals on the bed. The location was great, quiet and close to ferry stops and seemed to be quite close to everywhere we needed to be. Breakfast was lovely, continental with boiled eggs and great quality produce. The best mention has to be for the staff who were so helpful and friendly, with a special mention to Lia who was wonderful. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel with a romantic flavour.

Not much! Hooks in the bathroom for toiletry bags and the bathrobes. And possibly more hangers in the wardrobe. Only nit picky stuff though. We couldn't get the air con to work, despite asking at reception, but it wasn't that warm so we ended up leaving it off. Mini-bar was a nice touch, but we would have loved tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
