Ca' Pagan

We very much enjoyed our stay in Ca'Pagan. It has a nice location close to San Marco square but in a very quiet street. Upon arrival we were greeted with very friendly and polite staff who provided us with several recommendations on where to go and where to dine (some popular places but also some of their personal favourites). They showed us our room that was located in a building next to the main one (literally next door) and were very kind to explain us everything and answer any questions we had. Our room was located in an apartment that also featured a little shared kitchen and a shared nicely decorated living room. There was one more room in this apartment I believe. We loved how quiet the street was, so it was nice to sleep with windows open only hearing some birds chirping in the morning. The breakfast choices were limited but had everything we like. There was also a member of the staff who was responsible for serving drinks (a very nice and friendly lady). The room was quite small, but beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and we slept really well.

We found a little smell of moisture in the room a bit unpleasant. But being in Venice it is hard to find a place located in an older building without it. We got used to it pretty quickly, so it was not a deal breaker for us in any way.

The room was very cozy. I liked the location was close but bit too close to all the foot traffic.

I would have liked to come back to a cold room.

Excellent breakfast, and the property would make it available early if you have to leave early. It is located in the historic city with most of the major attractions being within walking distance. Plenty of good dining options around the place. 50 meters from the Vaporetta stop Samuele. (it funcitons only from 10 AM. Before that you would need to walk to the next stop 12 minutes away.
