Great place to stay for a romantic weekend

The accommodation was very central and conveniently located to San Samuele and Sant'Angelo vaporetti stops. We were given a room on the 1st floor, which was great as we are over 60 and 70. The accommodation was very clean and the decor was very Venetian, which gave it character and the room was a decent size. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They organsed a group boat trip which was a joyful, brilliant experience.

There was nothing to fault at all. What would have enhanced our stay was a TV channel with English news or a connection to the TV that a tablet could be plugged into (although this last idea has drawbacks in terms of security )

Delightful elegant room in Venice

Ca’ dell’Arte was a tiny hidden gem in Venice. It had a Baroque decor complete with beautiful Murano glass. The Imperiale room felt very elegant and even had a bathtub (the first on our trip and it was CLEAN). About a 10 min walk from San Marco piazza. The staff was terrific about helping us stow and get our bags downstairs.

Enjoyable couple of days in Venice.

Marco at reception was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is on a quiet street in a decent location. It is a easy walk to waterbus and restaurants.

The suggested boat "tour", was a boat "ride" instead. I would have enjoyed if the guide would have talked about what we were seeing.

Absolutely lovely! Perfect to rest and recharge between running about the city.

Really easy to get to, especially after hours the staff let us know how to get in easily & we finalised check in the next morning. Room was gorgeous and clean and staff were so friendly and knowledgable - really helpful for our 10000 questions! The hotel is far enough away from the main streets to be quiet and peaceful but only a 2 min walk to a busy and bustling square

The location is great as its central but also slightly more quiet that the super touristy areas. Room was huge and clean. Very nice stay for Venice

The room was nice, very spacious and comfortable. The area allowed us to easily access everything by walk. The staff was very kind and helpful and we also enjoyed the boat trip they offered for just an extra payment. It was very much appreciated as that day was a public transport strike and we would not have been able to have the boat trip otherwise.

There is no elevator and it might be complicated for people with disabilities, but other than that everything was great! The stairs were not a problem for us!

I recommend the accommodation - if you have no requirements for your breakfast.

I recommend the hotel - especially to those who like a quiet environment, but still close to the center. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Comfortable in the morning and pleasant coolness and silence during the night. All staff were very nice and helpfull!

However, we were disappointed. We wanted accommodation including breakfast - this was an important criterion for our choice. Breakfast was provided in the form of individually packaged foods (non-organic) with a long shelf life (not very tasty), which were, however, replenished every day. The breakfast included neither fruit nor vegetables nor unsweetened cereals, no regard for possible allergies.... However, we received a voucher for breakfast served in a restaurant - approx. 300 m away. However, the restaurant was always crowded in the morning - we had to stand in line. It was never clear where the queue started and where it ended. It wasn't clear to us what kind of toasts we were entitled to. The service was grumpy and it was not possible to agree on exchanging 2 pieces of croissants for a bowl of fruit. I turned to the hotel for help, which negotiated the possibility of ordering breakfast according to our choice. Nevertheless, I had to argue every time what we were entitled to. It was a really unpleasant start to the whole day.

Venetian Palace

The decor is superb in this hotel and definitely makes you feel like you are having a stay in a venetian Palace. The location is excellent 15 minutes to Piazza San Marco and the same to the Rialto Bridge. The ATCV stop (vaporetto) is only 300m away which is fantastic.

The vouchers if anything just a shame that there wasn't a dedicated breakfast room in the building. It's often nice to come down from your room and have breakfast before going into town.

great hotel, would stay again but not worth including the breakfast

great location, less than 1 minute walk to San Samuel water taxi stop, this is on line C but you may need to get off at San Angelo depending upon wether you get the number 1 or 2 water taxi on line C really nicely styled room with mezzanine bedroom no outside noise lovely square 2 minute walk away with restaurants and not too far at all from St marks square / Rialto bridge whilst there is no reception staff 24/7 this didn’t cause any issues for us, there was someone to greet us on arrival

breakfast was not breakfast. I read previous reviews about it being served in the room. There is a tray which includes packets of biscuits, crackers, dry/hard packet toast and some jams and packet croissants There was also a miniature box of cornflakes and museli but no milk, hotel informed me there were yoghurts in the fridge, whilst we were expecting some kind of continental breakfast, yoghurt on cornflakes wasn’t for us. the only breakfast tea bags, we used on the first day were not replaced and the same for the water. this is just as an FYI more than anything, we wouldn’t include breakfast if we were to stay again you can hear a lot of noise in the surrounding rooms

Just lovely!

This was our third visit. The hotel is comfortable and imaginatively furnished. It is down a quiet street, but minutes away from the main attractions. It is also easy to get to the quieter hidden parts of the islands. Ca del Arte has become our home from home in Venice. I’m sure it won’t be long before we return.

it was a perefect apartment for a few days in beautiful Venice. the apartment and the staff were fabulous.

the location of the apartment is private but very close to the main tourist areas. The apartment and the whole apartment complex is beautifully decorated and very luxurious. our room was amazing. everything was really perfect for us. Included breakfast was good. I would highly recommend this apartment if you are staying for a few days in Venice.

The apartment was gorgeous. Getting a water bus to and from the nearby jetty was easy but the water buses don’t stop there early in the morning. you need to catch the water bus from near the Realto Bridge if you have to get back to the car parks at Tronchetto early in the morning.
