Great stay in Hermanus

The reception was great and the building is very modern. The room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was very good en efficient. The location was also good. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bath were also good and clean. We will stay here again when we visit Hermanus.

Nice stay with exceptions of the breakfeast

Breakfeast was unfortunately not good. Fruit dish to simple for this room price (orange quarter to be peeled !) . A joghurt with 2 berries on top ! The egg dish was uneatable because everything was infused with balsamico vinegar even the scrambled eggs and the bacon.

It was clean comfortable and good view Parking was safe and rooms were serviced every day. Fresh Towels every day. The room was smaller than expected. Food was ok Staff was very friendly. Location good Safe location Great for morning or evening walks Very relaxing stay

The balcony facing the main street, people that passes look up right into the room and onto the balcony, for privacy I would suggest frosted glass for the lower part of the balcony, you will still be able to see the ocean view. For the price - a bit over priced if I compare to the other places we stayed.

This was such a treat, better than I expected.

The location was fantastic, right across the road from the beach. It is modern, clean and fresh. They served a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Hermanus

Terrible, there was old choclate in the fridge, no tissues.The staff was focussed on overseas clienta

I was mislead-the photo of where I will stay was misleading that I will have a sea view.I would never have paid that price for a room that looks on the neighbours and felt like a bog back room.

People are up and down the steps and you hear them talking.The room was a disgrace and the views.definitely not recommendable

The location was perfect with access to all places of interest and the restaurants. The receptionist was very helpful regarding where to go and what to do for any activity. rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for short stay. Breakfast was very good and generous. Every room amenity is taken care of.

Unfortunately we had the level downstairs room so can be a bit noisy with passing pedestrians and morning staff. I suggest request an upstairs room.

Great friendly staff nothing too much trouble Accidentally left an iPad in the room but was notified via WhatsApp with supporting photos to help confirm it was ours. They even asked how they could get it back to us

Not really a dislike but the sound travels through the walls so we could hear the breakfast being setup at 0630 in the morning

Our room stank of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room? The lights from property next door shone directly into our bedroom, was not good.

Lots of positives but let down by some concerning negatives. More attention to detail is required.

Room was bright with good quality linen and towels. Starter tasting platter at breakfast was very good.

Generally the room was clean and bright but this was spoilt by a very grubby carpet under and around the bed and window blinds that had not been cleaned properly. Breakfast was generally good but again it was spoilt by one course, a very mediocre breakfast stack

Beds were very comfortable, very friendly and accommodating staff, good breakfast and lovely bath and shower.

Nothing except the noisy outside heating unit, very loud and made it almost impossible to sleep. Luckily late at night it shut off.
