Lovely to visit Hermanus and the Cliff walk

Position and our welcome with Jason 🤗 Jacuzzi bath was nice and complimentary wine ( although we did not order it)

Plush furnishings were a little over the top and not always functional eg a cupboard to hang clothes TV did not work

I would have liked to see an option to book a sea view as there were clearly rooms available buyt didn’t show as an option when booking. Also our 2 x rooms were on different floors would have been preferable to be on the same floor

We made the decision to spend finale evening in South Africa in Hermanus and it was a great choice.

We had a beautiful room with lovely sea view and the pool area was perfect for relaxation.

There was no bar.

Pd fir Seaview room, partial sea view at best. Hotel is very dated and how it gets the trip advisor rating it gets I have no idea Breakfast was in small scruffy cottage at front of property. Poorest place we stayed in s Africa.

Lovely oceanfront boutique hotel

Beautiful classic building on the inside and lovely courtyard at the back, now for parking. Room very large and comfortable with a nice terrace with ocean view. Nice garden in front with a small pool with sun loungers but in a small area. Breakfast in the restaurant immediate in front of the hotel with a nice terrace but next to the road. Walking distance from the centre with many restaurants shops and a small market

Lovely pool area with heated pool. We had a large room overlooking the sea although I would have preferred a balcony. Great food, we ate there one evening and lovely although very quiet. Plenty of secure car parking space.

The main areas are a bit old fashioned. Not really to my taste but that’s a personal thing.

What a magical experience - my husband and I had an amazing time away! Peaceful, relaxing and the place was so tastefully decorated. It was truly an amazing time and would highly recommend this place for couples who just need to take a break!

Lovely hotel beside the ocean.

All the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful and the decor of the hotel was really stylish and attractive. We loved how spacious and light our room was, with a sea view. The secure parking was very important to us. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Breakfast was lovely …beautifully presented … they let themselves down with the coffee though as only proper coffee for paying customers not those staying in hotel … paid extra for a cappuccino and it was gorgeous but thought it should have been included for hotel guests not just visitors to cafe . They also gifted us a bottle of wine which was lovely and there were biscuits and chocolates in the room . All staff were exceptionally friendly .

Just the coffee situation and the lack of a bar facility . Also our umbrella at the pool took off and almost hit someone . I think a heated pool in the middle of summer is a bit crazy ?

Stayed one night

The staff provided excellent friendly service, and the location was highly convenient. The reception area was elegantly adorned with festive Christmas decorations. Our room was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and offered a picturesque view. Additionally, the warm pool was a delightful amenity.

The upstairs room looks a bit mismatched, lol. I wish they'd carried the decor from downstairs up there too.

Very pleasantly surprised.

Stunning antiques and vintage furniture and decor in foyer. Friendly, helpful and communicative staff. The owners made us feel so welcome. Stunning pools and gardens and most convenient adjacent restaurant. Safe parking and just far enough from business precinct to be quiet. We were most generously updated to a lovely , quiet suite with private balcony overlooking the pool/garden area.

No bar, but drinks could be ordered.

Breakfast- great to have as it allowed choices to make Room-clean and big View-Sea view as wished as it was indicated during booking with an extra charge

There was a room between 10h00 pm which was noisy through someone who made unbearable walks and early in the morning as from 5h00 am on the 3rd floor which was just one floor up from ours. Please address such as I called Mr Jason to attend to such on that particular evening of Sunday.
