This is a good option in a fun destination.

It's a romantic and relaxing escape I've been to three times. The oceanside, dramatic location is wonderful. Hermanus is fun and charming. The interior design of this hotel is slightly old world and pleasingly fresh at the same time. That's not easy to accomplish at this price point.

I'd asked for a second floor room and this time we were put in an inferior room with a weird shower. I would not accept that room again. We couldn't check in before 2pm and were strictly pushed to leave at 10am. When we arrived about 4pm the front desk person was missing and nobody knew where our room key was. We were told to wait about 30 minutes for her to return. She hadn't left instructions and had left her cell phone behind. That wasn't at all good. So as returning guests we were weren't treated very well.

The views are stunning

We liked that you can get directly onto the coast path. It’s about a 20/25 minute walk into town. There is a clean good sized pool with loungers. The large rooms have fabulous views over the ocean. No aircon but a ceiling fan. We didn’t feel hot. The house has a room with crockery etc and toaster, air fryer, microwave, ice machine so you can make a snack or drink anytime and there is a dining room and large lounge. Fridge in your room (small). Everyone has a sitting out area outside their room, I think.

Couple of issues which were fixed when we told the manager. The safe wasn’t fixed to the wall just sitting in the cupboard so we couldn’t use it. The curtain rail fell down as it was missing the end stop

Fantastic views, clean comfortable and friendly.

The room was far larger and better appointed than we expected with a stunning view over the bay at Hermanus. The use of a pleasant dining room where we could prepare out own breakfast in the morning was a real bonus, There was a large balcony and a pool with loungers which all exceeded expectations.

When I booked the property I misread the map and assumed it was a short walk into town to eat at the restaurants in the evening. You might walk in but its a long walk back after you've eaten - not the property's fault.

Just perfect!

To begin with the service on arrival was amazing, and we were shown directly to our room, when the lady opened the door I gasped at how beautiful the room was. It was a very comfortable and relaxing stay, lovely facilties and a great location.

A first-rate, outstanding Guesthouse!! Everything about it was outstanding. The incredible location, directly on Westcliff with incredible views of the ocean. A short walking distance to downtown. A warm and welcoming staff. A very comfortable and clean room, with an amazingly comfortable bed. We will be back!

A pleasant, relaxing stay in Hermanus

Location was excellent, right on the cliff path so suitable for spotting Whales which we were able to do from our balcony. Close to an excellent cafe/coffee shop for breakfasts. and nearby restaurants. Staff were very friendly and offered information on local area.

Although the room was spacious and had everything we needed the bed mattress was on the hard side without much support. Open wooden steps to the first floor were steep could be slippy when wet, along with the decking. One day a step was missing which made it very difficult to get down but credit to the staff and how quicky it was replaced.

Unfortunately the crockery and cutlery and glasses in the room and in the communal kitchen were in very bad shape, very cheap and didn’t match! Traveling to ZA once or twice a year and always staying in self catering accommodation the kitchen setup at this location is not up to standards.

The 2 bed apartment was better than expected, the pictures don't do it justice! We loved it, the rooms where large and clean, bathrooms great. The view was amazing, bonus that you can walk right onto cliff path, flicks pool and restaurant are a short walk away. Loved that we had a visitor cat, especially as we were missing our cats back home.

You cannot beat the location - unobstructive view of Walker Bay, and the Hermanus cliff top walk is outside the front gate with the town centre a short walk away.

We spend 5 wonderful days at 11 Westcliff Rentals, and will definitely revisit.

The fact that we had the most beautiful view from our bed. Excellent location, amazing scenery, secure and safe, short walk to shops and restaurants. Loved the bathroom. Cherish was excellent and helpful.

It was cold - understandable so - room got quite chilly. We couldn’t get any of the two airconditioning units to work to warm up the room. Cherish did supply us with 2 fan heaters and hot water bottles. She explained the next morning that there is a problem with the airconditioning. We did sleep snug -thank you.

Best ocean view in Hermanus

The house is beautiful and has the best view in Hermanus. It is located on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. It is also within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room is very spacious with a terrace. The check-in and out were smooth, and the lady was very polite and informative. She gave us some additional information and answered all our questions without hesitation. We stayed in room N 8 and N 5. Both were great.

Stunning view, very comfortable accommodation - would highly recommend!

We had room #8 - and it's view is breathtaking! We loved the size of the unit which gives you space for a lounge as well as a balcony whoch looks out over the cliff path and the sea all the way to the other side of the bay - we will be back, God-willing! It was a Treat, even just for 1 night. Thank you 11 Westcliff & Cherish for making our stay so lovely!
