A lovely guest house with central location and opposite the cliff path

A wonderful location just off the main area. Easy safe parking a very nice welcome and efficient check in. Restaurant The Ridge just 100 metres away was excellent for evening meals. Great shower and bathroom. Very quiet at night. Lovely pool area. Very clean and efficient breakfast area.

The room just looked a little tired. The carpet particularly old and worn by the entrance door

It is such a pity that they don’t upkeep the property, windows and doors don’t close or open all wooden and damaged and swollen. Lamp shades all wobbly, torn and need replacing Carpets threadbare, worn & dirty Bath leaked No valence on bed? The whole place needs a revamp and it is fully booked so don’t think lack of finances😉

The breakfast lounge is one of my favorite highlights. the kitchen is open plan so i simply enjoyed watching them cook. The food was so hearty and warm,and very tasty. The staff was amazing and so respectful and i felt at home. The one gentleman that was responsible for the up keep of the property was so diligent and really earns 5 stars. I will be back soon. Nadia was very accommodating and flexible. everything was done with ease.

The housekeeping required a little more attention. On arrival the room was squeeky clean and well taken care of. The days that followed the cleaning was not up to the same standard;this was the only down side.little things like the table not wiped off,the bathroom not wiped properly and the carpet not swept.

A great stay-over in Hermanus!!!

A delightful and well appointed property within very easy walking distance of Hermanus centre, we were very well looked after. Our room (for two days) was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast (booked the night before) was comprehensive and very good indeed. The pool was excellent to lounge by. Mine host was extremely helpful and guided us to a great “sun-downer” bar by the sea for pre-dinner drinks. Being on the “front” the walk into town was short (10 minutes) and safe. The views over the ocean were superb.

We could find no fault with the property and the owners were delightful.

A decent B&B a little dated buy very clean & tidy, welcome was good but make sure you check in by 1800, secure parking and breakfast was very good. Short walk from the restaurants in Hermanus town, excellent value for money.

Perfect stay in Hermanus

Everything was excellent. The room was huge and had everything we needed. The bathroom was amazing , 2 sinks, shower and bath. The location was perfect, right on the cliff path and near all the bars, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was brilliant, excellent selection. Saw lots of dolphins from the cliff path

We had stayed in Hermanus before but not at Pelagus, which was less central than our last stay BUT it worked better for us, with only 5 or 10 minute stroll to the centre of Hermanus (and away from the noise of the tourists and traffic). 25 - 30 mins stroll the other way took you to the new harbour and whale watching. The (sea) view from the room was amazing. The room and bed very comfortable, breakfast excellent and the gated parking felt very secure. Would return in a heartbeat

Didn't quite understand the lack of flexibility of check in, however, that said, it didn't affect us as we arrived at CPT at 10am and after car rental 1pm suited fine.

Great location, ample parking and large bedroom and bathroom. Not hot enough to use the pool which looked inviting.

The bed was very, very soft with very nice duvet and sheeting. The dark furniture could do with a re-fresh. The skirting board underneath the double basin unit needs to be repainted. Complimentary bottles of water would have been a nice touch

Never disappoints

Location cannot be better with easy safe walking into town centre. Very comfortable large room with all the facilities we needed. Although we only stayed for a couple of nights size of room and wardrobe space easily sufficient for a two week stay. Last but not least delicious cooked breakfast or continental ham and cheeses etc. together with some interesting sweet items.

Central location with friendly staff

I was very happy to be upgraded loved the sea view. Shower is also excellent.

No basin plugs once again (this is our second stay), The bed was very uncomfortable, (very hard yet is also saged) the room is very cold the heater needs to be stronger or in a different location. (the room is to big for the wall heater)
