Fabulous stay with wonderful Sea Views.

There are so many positives regarding this hotel,(as is reflected in review scores). A few in my view are: this hotel quite simply is the best location in Hermanus, views are fabulous, Hotel is relatively new, fittings and furnishings are beautiful. The breakfast and quality of food is excellent, with a fully furnished bar supplied with premium drinks totally free on a self service basis. The centre of Hermanus is a safe few minutes walk away, the cliff path is on your doorstep and Ficks tidal pool is literally next door. There are so many positives in this well appointed, we’ll run hotel, but after naming the above, the biggest positives are the staff who were exceptional during our stay and it fealt we left as friends not guests.

A genuinely special hotel. The location is excellent, the property is perfect, but it’s the team that makes it stand out. Thank you to everyone, especially for the generous breakfast and warm hospitality. It’s rare to find staff who are so consistently attentive and clearly focused on making every guest’s stay a great one. We’ve stayed at three of the top hotels in Hermanus, and this is the best. We will definitely return.

No doors on the bathroom but that’s just our preference. Everything else was a hugely positive experience

Really did not like not having bathroom doors - for me it’s a dealbreaker & a design aspect I really do not understand. tThere was a temp screen at the side of the loo, but it doesn’t really offer any privacy

Great location, friendly staff, facilities excellent.

Property is v well located close enough to the centre but far away enough to have total peace and quiet with stunning views. Facilities are great. Bedroom spacious, bed super comfortable, lots of cupboard space and v well appointed bathroom. Hosts and staff friendly and fact you can have drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) is a nice and thoughtful addition. Staff helped me book restaurants before our arrival which was great. They do all they can to make you feel v welcome.

Superb, friendly, high qualities accommodation

Boutique Ocean Views is in the most stunning location right by the sea. You could sit and watch the ocean all day from the bedroom balcony. We enjoyed all aspects of this accommodation. The staff were so friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Breakfast was superb sitting outside. We loved everything about Hermanus. Our stay was far too short.

My favorite stay

From the minute we walked in, to sadly leaving this wonderful place our expectations were exceeded. The views...decor...the warm staff...comfy rooms and personalised service.Nothing was too much effort to make our stay comfortable, it was a homey atmosphere with the best view you could ever wish for. If you are ever in doubt as to where you should stay, do not hesitate to come here - you will be extremely happy you did. I can easily say this is the best vacation stay I have ever done in any country!

A fine boutique hotel, very well maintained and stylish right at the sea. We had rooms with ocean views on both of our stays, and the view is breathtakingly beautiful. We were also lucky enough to see a whale from our balcony. The staff are friendly and cater to your every need, and the atmosphere is informal. The breakfast is excellent and fits in with the overall picture – something special in every way. What stands out is the combination of colours on the walls, furniture and accessories – it all comes together beautifully. We can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience.

we spent four nights in a great sea facing room ,all the staff are welcoming and friendly we are in our late 70 s my wife is recovering from a fall ,the family who own the hotel treated us like family and made us us feel like home .The breakfasts are freshly prepared and the view when you walk in to the foyer takes your breath. my take away from our memorable 4 days is ,5 star.

Stunning property - amazing views

Where do I start? it is a stunning venue from the minute you walk through the door. The bedrooms are all amazing with fantastic views. The hosts cannot do enough for you. Is it possible to have a 6 star guest house - I guess it is after staying here

Nothing, however, a minor suggestion would be to have music in the bedrooms. There is great music playing downstairs, so could you share it upstairs.

We have been holidaying in Hermanus for years. I am also a frequent traveller - and this is honestly THE MOST BEAUTIFUL well positioned place in Hermanus. I did not want to move from my room. The owners were hands on / taking part in cooking and cleaning. From the time we entered - their enthusiasm made us feel as if we were home!!!! Our bedroom and view was as if we were on a ships deck. Spotlessly clean, peaceful..... Just completely amazing!!!! Our grown up children were staying close by.... And the owners insisted they join us for breakfast. Amazing amazing amazing!!!!

Only booked for three nights..... The photographs on booking.com... Do the property no justice. In reality this property is much much much more beautiful.

The hosts Connie & Chris could not have been more hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble , & we were made to feel like part of the family. Five star breakfast was varied every day & perfect.
