A fantastic stay - location, food , service and having Tito there was amazing so relaxing a huge thank you.

Location , Staff , Food and Service amazing . Breakfast was delightful - lead by Tito and his wonderful staff - amazing views from the dinning room . The presentation and breakfast was described by my husband as Michelin Star . A calming atmosphere to start the day - simply wonderful .

Our initial online check in was a nightmare with DCC via Booking.com but once we finally got to the property Tito was a true professional at his job .

This is a delightful place to stay. Beautiful view, easy access to the walk along the coast and to the beach. Great host, delicious and bountiful breakfast. Very nice get away.

Absolutely excellent

Our room was superb with full width patio door overlooking the ocean and 2 chairs to sit and whale watch. Bed was enormous and comfy and small kitchen area was a bonus. Staff were amazing and Tito is a complete star. Receptionist,porter,chef. A pleasure to meet him. For a small place with 5 rooms breakfast was exceptional.

Great accommodation for whale watching

Located just outside the city centre, but with a great view of the bay from the Superior Suite. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the nearby Dutchies restaurant was closed, so we drove into the city centre. You can take a wonderful walk along the bay and learn about environmental issues on a ‘sustainability trail’. If you want to see whales, this is the place to be. However, we were unlucky and didn't see any. Private garage for the car in the building.

Great location with fabulous views! Our apartment was spotless and beautifully furnished. The lounge & dining areas downstairs were fabulous also. The lodge is right on the beach with the spectacular walking track to Hermanus town right out front. Just wished we had spent an extra night so we could have time to do the full length of the beach walk. Our host was amazing! She could not have been more welcoming & helpful and made our stay just that much more enjoyable! The breakfast she made us was nothing short of 10 out of 10! Would highly recommend this property!

Only fault was ours - we didn’t book for an extra night or two!

Great hotel in Hermanus - good value and view

Very helpful, polite and friendly staff. Comfy Bed. Big bed in main room and separate single at front of room area behind a door, so good if have a partner that snores. Nice area to sit with chairs and look at the view with potential for whales. Breakfast was great. English breakfast taken that was hot and tasty. In garage parking available.

Shame we did not have a balcony area, you could stand but not sit on chairs, however there is a room with a balcony on the right hand side. It's a little further from the main town, but its a reasonable taxi ride

A SUPER STAY

Attention to detail given by the staff was exceptional. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we felt like we had been at a 5 star home-away-from-home. We could not have wished for anything better. Thank-you Tito! Our view from our room and from our bed was an incredible uninterrupted sea-view. The bed was ultra-comfortable. Our room was spacious with a spare room within the suite (incl single bed). We used this as our dressing room :). There is no shortage of cupboard space throughout the suite. The breakfast presentation was so tastefully done and the hot breakfasts made for us were of a very high standard. Voelklip Beach is a few steps away from the front of the establishment and Grotto Beach (Blue Flag beach) is a short walk along the cliff path. Hermanus Beachfront Lodge is a definite recommendation from me to any one wishing a beautifully comfortable stay in Hermanus.

Rocky start EXCELLANT STAY

We started off on a rocky slope, as there was a recent change of ownership of the property and there was a mix-up with our booking. Tito was on duty and kept my husband calm, phoned his superior and with grace and style resolved the mix-up.
