Fantastic location in a lovely Guest House. Thoroughly recommend

We were made to feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and we loved the large balcony. The beach was stunning and the addition of a good restaurant at the entrance to the beach was a big bonus.

The positioning of the air conditioning unit meant we had cold air blowing onto our heads and we couldn't alter the temperature.

Great stay by the beach

Our family of four had a lovely stay at Lavender Manor Guest Lodge over several nights. The family suite was perfectly sized for us and had everything we needed. The location couldn't be better—we were within walking distance of beautiful beaches and several great restaurants, which made exploring the area so easy. What really stood out was how sweet and welcoming the staff were with our children. Their kindness added such a special touch to our stay. We'd happily return to Lavender Manor on our next trip!

An incredible stay!

Lavender Manor is an incredible property, well situated and excellently maintained. The views from of either the mountain or the ocean are spectacular and make choosing this property a must. Spotting whales breaching while in a wonderfully warm nook was one of our highlights. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were warm and friendly, offering good advice on local restaurants and activities. Thank you so much for looking after us!

It was a bit cold in the room and it gets warm pretty slowly by a heater but this is usual to South Africa during the winter. So just need to wear warm clothes.

A very welcome home away from your home for your family or travel alone

The host is very welcoming. Well maintained and clean on a safe street. The room is decorated in European style. Feel warn and homey, Plenty of parking. A bit further away from the town center but easy to drive or call Uber with 5-10 min ride. Close to beach walk. Breakfast is fabulous!

If I would have one minor suggestion, not negative at all. The bath room has a higher step gap easy to miss and tip. Recommend to tape a yellow sign to remind the guests. Otherwise, its very comfortable bathroom

Unfortunately, It was a very short stay but we enjoyed the house and the area around.

House is great and lovely. Family room is very nice and confortable but no view. Location is great with nice view and walking distance of beaches but a bit away from center if you are looking for that. Very nice and healthy breakfast.

The house suffer from humidty or water ingress. But can be easily repaired.

an outstanding stay, would recommend and will be back. thank you

very cosy and a good sized bedroom with views of the ocean. Marlese & Kobus the owners went out of their way to ensure all was good. Eddie their helper was so helpful and just brilliant too. the accommodation is literally 200m from Grotto a beach and Duchies bar/bistro. Their beach bar is opposite, both are wonderful.

when the power went off. nothing to do with the house, load shedding!
