A very comfortable stay with everything we wanted.

Very spacious. Outstanding kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher, laundry with washing machine and tumble drier, bathrooms modern, bedrooms a good size. Adam, the host is wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us.

Superb

Very nice apartment with a big living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped, dishwasher machine included. The host has provided us with all the information and the check-in/check-out procedure was fine. The zone is residential, very quite and silent.

Two only thinks to be underlined: Washing machine didn’t work and the apartment is a too cold - only one gas-stove is not enough for that big apartment.

super large comfortable home from home stay

excellent stay all round- met and showed round the property by Janneke who explained how everything worked. The living space was huge-probably larger than the photos showed. Excellent large bathrooms with good showers, very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen with a gas hob for loadshedding. Also good lighting. Safe off road parking. All round really good- thank you Janneke- a real home from home.

We arrived at a normal address in quiet street close to centre of town and opened the patio door into a huge, light, spacious, beautifully set open planned house with bedrooms leading off, modern spacious guest bathroom with big shower. Main bedroom we fought over! So cosy and dreamy. Quiet sunny patio we enjoyed our morning coffee together. Friendly, caring host who made sure we had everything in order.

Just a slight bit too far to walk into town central.. but then again.. away from hussle n bustle!

Pictures and advertising don't match the reality.

The room was clean on arrival and the linen was of good quality.

The facilities advertised that we would have access to kitchen facilities and our room was next to a large, spacious living room and kitchen which was completely empty for our entire 5 day/4 night stay but we weren't granted access to it. Instead, she gave us a cooler box and suggested we buy ice. Our room was said to have access to a coffee machine but we didn't have coffee, tea, or towels on arrival because the owner wasn't expecting us but was rushing to prepare for last minute guests who never arrived (we had made our reservation at least three-four weeks prior to our stay.) After I booked the house, I sent a message about whether smoking outside was permitted. The owner responded and said that each unit had its own, private outside area, which we could see in the pictures. This is not accurate because the owner lives on the property and that outside area is not available to guests. Guests have one shared outside area which is attached to the owner's part of the house. There is a distinct lack of privacy. There is no trash can in the room so our trash piled up and attracted flies. We had to buy our own coffee and wash our cups in the bathroom sink. The owner kindly gave us dishes that we refused to wash in the bathroom and we left them outside which could also have contributed to the fly problem. This wasn't my idea of a relaxing break. This was really disappointing. Other guests seemed to have a wonderful time, we wanted to support South African businesses but this guest house made us feel like second-rate guests. Really awful.
