Great hosts and nice location.

The location was excellent for us as we could walk into town. The reception had several suggestions and were very helpful. The breakfast was a real treat. We had a nice choice and it was all freshly made.

My wife and I are tall (1.80 plus) and the bed was short for us, I think shorter than we are used to. But it was comfortable.

Amazing host and delicious breakfasts - lovely pool area too

Stefan was an excellent host - he gave us lots of information regarding the area and recommendations for places to eat and visit. The breakfasts were amazing - some amazing choices and all cooked to order. It was lovely to have the pool and courtyard area available to cool off in after a day exploring. There was lots of information provided in the guest lounge and it was a short scenic walk to the main area.

It was a little strange having a room directly off the dining room - but this was just a small thing considering everything else.

Great location on sea front and easy walking into old harbour town. Friendly hosts. Brilliant breakfast and loved all the juices and cereals portioned individually with lids on. So clean!

Our third visit and remain impressed. Stef made us feel so welcome and gave very useful info on places to visit/eat. The Accomm was high quality. Good room , bed , shower and had a great pool to cool off in. The property is minutes walk to the cliff path and has secure parking. Stef's breakfasts were outstanding quality with impressive attention to detail. The Avacado on toast for instance - what a treat. We look forward to our next visit. Thanks Stef & Nikki.

Beautiful property and area, lovely welcome, great breakfasts

We had a lovely time with Stefan and Nikki making us feel so welcome. Advice on places to visit/restaurants but also happy to leave you to enjoy the area too. Room clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts so good. The cliff path is less than 2 mins away and is spectacular. Felt safe walking to and from restaurants in the evenings.

The property is in a great location, very close to Ficks pool, very easy access to the cliff path. The rooms are lovely, the pool is great and the owners are so friendly and welcomed our fur baby too! A great spot especially if you’re traveling with pets.

The welcoming hospitality and hosting was very warm and friendly with the hosts giving very close attention to us as guests. The guest house and rooms were always clean and the beach towels were very convenient. The rooms were large and had all what was needed. We felt safe and comfortable. The breakfasts were a treat and very personalised and we always looked forward to the tasty well presented breakfasts. The locality is also good.

Great stay in Hermanus!

Nikki & Stephan are great hosts! We got taillored recommendation on what to do around Hermanus based on our preferences. On our way back to cape town to check in with them if there were any whale sightings lately (we did not see them when we were there.. So we could decide to try again or not. Even then Nikki contacted us to help us out Room was tidy and clean. Breakfast every morning was very good. Really liked that they offer daily specials.

Great hosts, nice welcome, helped with a map and some recommendations and everything through the stay. Location was perfect and the property felt very safe. Walking distance to the waterfront, right on the cliff path.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Penguino Guest House in Hermanus! Every morning started with an amazing breakfast that featured a different daily special, along with a super high-quality fresh fruit platter that was a perfect start to our day. The property itself is wonderful, with a clean and inviting pool that provided a refreshing break, and the rooms were both comfortable and spotless. Its location is unbeatable: just a short walk from the town center and only minutes away from the beautiful Hermanus cliff walking path, which is ideal for an early morning run or a leisurely stroll.
