We were in Room 4 which had a lovely small private outside space. Super bright room and spotlessly clean. Good breakfast- excellent homemade marmalade! Very hospitable owners.

A bit further out of town than we thought, but very easy taxi service available. Parking outside guest house a little tight.

Opportunity to stay was not possible due to travelling with my baby.

I did not get a chance to sleep over because only at the property it was mentioned that kids are not allowed at the property. Had to leave and find a place to sleep that night.

The bedrooms were very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Anna Marie sorted a table out for us at an excellent restaurant. The plunge pool was an asset. Nice touch to offer iced tea which was delicious on arrival.

A glass of fresh orange juice at breakfast would have been appreciated. The drive way was a little narrow so use caution!

Fantastic room and lovely hosts

We had a lovely spacious room and huge bathroom with both tub and shower. Outside was a lovely deck are with a lounge and sun beds. A10 minutes walk gets you into Hermanus

A lot of love has been poured into this little gem of a B&B. The owners are lovely, super helpful and friendly. Every little touch in the room and at breakfast showed the love and care and made for an experience that exceeded our expectations. Stayed in the studio room which was really lovely and well equipped with a great sitting out area outside. Staff and owners were really friendly and helpful. 10/10 Stay at The Potting Shed

Everything about this place is exceptional. Upon arrival, Doreen welcomed me with a lovely homemade drink that was infused with rooibos, and I forgot what else🤭. She went ahead to give me a map with recommendations of places I could go to. Annamarie and Dave are such lovely hosts. They made the place feel like home. The breakfast was absolutely divine. The home made bread and delicacies taste so yummy. I stayed in the studio upstairs, and it was well worth it. Clean, peaceful, and spacious. The regular check-ins and chats are also lovely. I felt like two days wasn't enough, and I definitely hope to come back in the future

A very pleasant stay, at an exceptionally comfortable, affordable and homely venue, in a quiet street in Hermanus.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the area and its amenities. The room was comfortable and contained everything we needed to enhance our stay. The breakfasts were exceptional, with homemade bread, preserves and rusks, as well as pancakes. It was like going back in history to happy family times.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property, its location or the staff.

Perfect stay

We stayed one night at the Potting Shed. It’s very well located, hosts are very very welcoming and they gave us nice recommendations for sightseeings and restaurants. The breakfast was very tasty. The room we booked was very big and well equipped, including a private terrace. Thanks again for your warm hospitality!!

It had everything we needed for a short stay. The studio was perfectly equipped, especially to prepare a light meal. Loved the bathroom and private sundeck. Breakfast was lovely and convenient.

Great place! Beautifully furnished, comfortable, close to town, owners very hospitable and helpful and nice breakfast included ! Would definitely stay again. For those who are not familiar with guest houses, they are really more like very small boutique hotels.

When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady and explained everything about the hotel and area. The room we booked was so fresh and clean. We booked a large room with a big bathroom . The shower worked perfectly and we slept so good. The breakfast was so nice with healthy choices like yoghurt and fresh eggs. The pool is very small but good enough to relax if you want to relax after a whole dat of drive . Location is in a safe neighborhood. We walke to Hermanus town.
