It was a comfortable stay in a good location. The hosts are very helpful.

The hosts are very kind and helpful. The rental is very good value for money. The gardens are beautiful. The location for our particular needs was perfect. The ground level of the house is a good rental for up to 6 people. The hosts were very accomodating in allowing us to have family members over for a braai.

Spacious apartment with delightful hosts and garden

Our hosts were absolutely lovely people who really took time to chat and care about us. The garden was super for our mini schnauzers and baby daughter to play in with a small fence around it. It was a spacious apartment on the bottom floor. It had wifi and was close to the cliff path for walks and stunning views. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. There was an alarm and secure parking, which made us feel safe. It has 2 full bathrooms with baths, which was VERY helpful with a baby.

The rooms were cold even with the wall heaters on. But to be fair, it has been a bitterly cold winter thus far. The beds are spring based, and my husband likes to rugby tackle the bed when he turns over, so I was bouncing around rather a lot. There was rather a lot of activity during our stay, so we didn't really feel like there was that much privacy as the back garden was a shared space with people coming and going. There was also someone upstairs from us moving furniture around after midnight, which was a bit of an issue with waking up our baby. The water was switched off for the 2nd last day of our stay while they fixed a washer in one of the rooms, which was a bit inconvenient as we had wanted to shower during that time. You take a shower whenever you baby sleeps, as most parents will know. But it wasn't really a train smash.

Was a beautiful place and was exactly what we were looking for just to pass through Hermanus.

There are a few appliances that need to be replaced. We saw some rust in the microwave and one of the kettles.

Cozy cottage in a green garden

The cozy cottage is imbedded in this very green nice private garden and it's great for families for there are just one large room with 4 beds. We had a wonderful evening here.

Comfortable & clean, but a bit underwhelming.

The host Andre was lovely, very welcoming and warm. The cottage was cute, clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a few nights stay, although the kettle, toaster and stove were very old and could be doing with an update.

The Wi-fi was very important to us as we both work online and unfortunately the wi-fi here was very poor, with little to no signal at all in the cottage and we were unable to work from this location, resulting in us checking out a day earlier.

It was challenging with the Wheel chair.

The location was central, this would have been a lovely stay for myself.

I specifically phoned and asked if they were wheelchair friendly. There were no grab handles in the bathroom and no access to the braai area(Step). Wheel chair access was by way of a piece of wood placed on bricks. The difficulties with a wheel chair are already challenging rather pass on the booking. I feel that grab handles and access is a minimum requirement for being able to advertise as wheelchair friendly.

Fanie and Erine are fantastic hosts, making us feel very welcome. Will definitely go back.

Our hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable of local restaurants and activities. They also kept us informed of the loadshedding times and checked we had fully charges torches to cover this time.
