Fantastic

The grounds are lovely and well kept. The pool is perfect for cooling down. Friendly staff and lots of advice and help with the local area and amenities. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Spacious, beautifully decorated room with a large, well‑stocked shower. The location was ideal

Breakfast was excellent—an English breakfast complemented by muesli, yogurt, and fresh fruits. The bed was very comfortable, and the room spacious and beautifully decorated. The shower was generously sized and stocked with high‑quality bathing soap, cream, and other amenities. The location was perfect: just a 10‑minute walk to the Waterfront and right around the corner from the Hermanus Cliff Path, a breathtaking 12 km trail with stunning cliff views

We really liked the location and found the price to be very reasonable—good value for money. The room and bathroom were spacious, adding to the comfort of our stay.

Our host was really kind and friendly, the cottage was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay.

We loved the cottage which was clean and spacious. The heater in the bedroom helped keep us cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some simple meals.

Unpleasant

Location was good, it was an easy walk to everything.

The self-catering cottage is not a 4 star establishment. The hosts welcome on arrival was less than welcoming, it was also the only contact we had the entire stay. A throw on the bed smelled of cat urine. There wasn't a drop of soap to wash your hands in the bathroom.

Very cute bungalows, comfortable and clean. Loved the added extra of a biscuit with our tea/coffee in the room. Lynda was warm and friendly and gave great advice on where to visit.

Soft beds, good location. Lots of mosquitoes in the room, and also many blood stains from old mosquitoes that have been killed, and the stains where on the walls, ceiling and in the curtains. The breakfast was only from 8 until 9. And you felt a bit locked up in the room. And the pool was not clean.

Cost efficient stay in Hermanus

Manager on duty has been really helpful when we had some issues with our rental car. She helped to communicate with the agency. Nice garden and good breakfast.

Unfortunately a baby bed could not be provided, however could manage without it as well.

Superb stay in a fabulous room in a brilliant location.

A fabulous guest house. Warm welcome from Rene and Bobby the dog. The room was great and spacious with everything we needed. Load shedding didn’t affect us as they had a back up system in place. Breakfast was very good. The salt water pool was refreshing. The gardens were beautiful. A few steps from the cliff path and the quayside seafood cabin

Perhaps the wifi in one of our rooms could have been better but there was always connection in the lounge.

An enjoyable few days

Breakfasts were excellent, and Rene was both charming and helpful. The property is conveniently located for both the New Harbour (excellent fish restaurant there) and the shoreline nature reserve walkways into the centre of Hermanus.

Nice and peaceful stay

Such a nice place! Amazing breakfast, friendly staff, good beds, great shower and beautiful garden ambiance all around the property. The cuddly hotel dog was the cherry on top :)
