Cottages are clean, well maintained and perfectly situated from the town but avoids the chaos when it gets busy

Yvonne, our host, was delightful and attentive and we loved the insights to walks just meters from the door.

The small touches of flowers, good linen and her rusks were exceptional. We will be back with more family from USA.

Great value for money, a lovely loft room at the Guest House.

This was fantastic value for money. A loft room, with a big bed, fridge & basic cooking facilities and a good bathroom. The owners were very helpful and check in was very easy. A very short walk to the cliff top walk then an easy 2km into Hermanus. Tea/coffee/milk provided which was a nice touch.

Lovely stay

Beautiful property and easy walk to the centre of hermanus. We had an issue with the electricity and the owners came round straight away to fix the problem. Thank you! We only stayed a night, but I wish it had been longer and I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful room, very comfortable, great linens etc used. Bathroom big and very clean. Expresso machine, milk, tea , kettle and rusks provided, even some wine. Great host. 1 min walk to the cliff path, so beautiful. Would stay here again!!!

Lovely stay in Hermanus

We loved Hermanus, and this stay made it particularly comfy for us. Yvonne, our host, was super friendly, we even had some welcome drink there. The room is super cozy and has great amenities, and it's squeaky clean. In the morning you get awakened by birds, and the cliff trail is just a few steps away. 100% recommend!

I like everything... experience was excellent...and Yvonne very friendly and gave us a nice bottle of wine. And we appreciate that were could off stay only one nite seeing you struggle with this.

I will suggest a hot blanket on bed in winter months...but bed is wonderful...

I was quite horrified when the Owner announced that I would be staying in The Loft Room " The stairs were outside, the building extremely steep -wooden planks ! No where on the website was there a mention of a" Loft Room"I certainly would not have booked this ! I was afraid to go out to Dinner , arrive back in the dark & negotiate this steep staircase - I therefore went to bed & left at 5am in the morning - feeling conned !!!! Beware !

A Beautiful stay in a great location

We had a lovely warm welcome by Dirk who was very kind and friendly and took time to tell us about the area and answer any questions we had. The room itself was beautiful, a spacious studio with everything you need and plenty of charm. It was clean, light and bright with views of the mountains around. The bathroom was very nice also with a good shower. Amenities were great with coffee machine, TV, battery for load shedding, fridge etc and complimentary rusks and coffee! It also felt very safe, as it is located in a very safe neighborhood and had security gates etc. Location was perfect with a nice short walking distance to the beach and restaurants, being right on the coast.

The hosts, Dirk & Yvonne are genuinely welcoming, warm, inviting, respectful, humble and passionate by personally cooking and serving our beautiful, healthy and exceptionally delicious 5 course breakfast. This held us over until around 3/4pm, in the day. The accommodation itself was equipped with the best quality, all round. I've never felt as safe, comfortable & at home as there. I also loved the lovely blend of guests. We all felt like family with all the love we received from our hosts. I highly recommend, especially to all my Facebook travel groups💫✨️💜💖❤️💛. They were the best ever ambassadors for SA, I've ever come across. God bless, Dirk & Yvonne in abundance 🥰🫠🫠🥰

Amazing

Upon arrival we got the most warm welcome you can imagine from Dirk, a kind of welcome you will never get in a hotel, we directly felt welcome and at home. The accommodation is perfectly located and 2 minutes away from the cliff path. The room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. The communication from Dirk and Yvonne was perfect and they provided us a list with recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. We would definitely come back. Ps the cookies from Yvonne were delicious

Great Accommodation - excellent location!

Excellent accommodation in just the perfect location, 2kms from town and a close walk to the trail work. Beds were super comfy, clean linen and added extra touches - coffee pods, fresh rusks, free bottles of wine. Yvonne was such a great host and very accommodating.
