Good location short walk to centre of Hermanus on coastal path. Very clean and comfortable room. Very good breakfast both continental and cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay in Hermanus

This was our first stop along the Garden Route and the hotel was perfectly located. Just across the street was an access to the coastal walk from where you can walk into town for dinner which takes about 30 min. The room was clean and comfortable with nice views in both directions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, for our anniversary the even gave us a little gift which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was excellent as well. :)

Nothing we didn't like, but maybe the listed Property Facilities could be updated where "Fitness" is mentioned. We assumed there was going to be a fitness room which there is not, there is now a day spa.

The Bamboo Guest House was a very relaxing place to stay and the manager, Teressa was really warm and welcoming. We spent a lovely couple of days in Hermanus and regretted not having booked for longer.

Amazing host Teressa! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Fantastic area, right beside beautiful cliff walk. Lovely facilities - pool, balconies, shared space, free secure parking. Safe and quiet area. Spacious, clean rooms. Delightful bath to swim in. Great value. Recommend staying a few days at least, we unfortunately had a short visit but will hopefully be back again!

The best stay of our trip!!

The perfect stay - definitely a more than deserved 10/10!!! Starting with the great architecture and the beautiful interior, the absolute cleanliness and the breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired. Not to be forgotten is the lovely hostess Teresa, who enriched our stay with great tips and recommendations. A stay at the Bamboo guest house is really highly recommended!

Very comfortable, clean and enjoyable.

A suburban location was a car trip to town and there didn't seem to be many (any?) restaurants around the area within walking distance. But the rooms were fine, clean, well appointed, great wifi and enough electric outlets delight. Full proper SA breakfast with all the bells and whistles and a sparklingly clean pool to relax by. Can't ask for more than that!

The guesthouse is just a one minute walk from the cliff path to Hermanus. The area is very quiet and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad. The rooms are comfy and big as well as the beds.

Peaceful coastal retreat in Hermanus

Super friendly welcoming staff, walkable to the town, easy fob access for the main gate, very clean throughout, and probably the nicest breakfast we had during our trip! The automatic under-sink lighting in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise too (an idea I might have to steal). Would happily stay here again.

Carrying around the rather large keyring with the room key and fob was a little awkward in the pocket (at least you won't forget to leave it when checking out), and it can get a little warm inside during load shedding hours, but otherwise everything was great and we only regret not staying here longer!

Gorgeous accomodation, no expense spared.

Location is directky across the road from the cliff top walk, cleanliness, modern, no expense spared, all facilities including room were outstanding, also had seperate kitchen facilities and an extensive honestly bar with large beverage refrigerators. Everything was lovely, owner and staff very friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous gorgeous place would highly recommend to anyone. Would definitely stay here again

Great place for a perfect stay in Hermanus

We have been here years ago and loved the place because of the friendly host Sue and we loved the decoration a lot. now we came back years later and got to meet the owner Carol, who is very lovely and always trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was great and we didn’t miss anything at all. the place with this beautiful decoration can really make your stay a perfect one.

The property is in great shape - it is bright and attractive, in modern contemporary style. The rooms are of ample size. and beautifully furnished and decorated. The owners have an eye for detail and work very hard to make their guests’ stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was excellent - everything you hope for!
