The property was incredibly clean and perfectly located in a quiet and safe area. The cliffs walk is just right across the street. Tanja was incredibly kind, helpful, and full of interesting stories. When I told her I was unsure what all I planned to do in Hermanus, she gave me plenty of different ideas and suggestions which I really appreciated.
The room was very spacious and spotless. I really enjoyed my stay, and I would absolutely stay here again

We had a very pleasant one night stay at this guest house. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had a nice balcony. We enjoyed a large breakfast the following morning with plenty of choice. There were also some nice little touches such as complimentary port and snacks as well as a well stocked mini bar. Tanya, the host , was very helpful and gave us lots of useful info about the local area. The Hermanus cliff path can be easily accessed from the guesthouse and is highly recommended.

Perfect perfect perfect!! In every way
Tanya welcomed us personally with refreshing towels & a delicious drink. Booked restaurants for us & always happy to chat & give advice. The guest house facilities are first class with attention to every detail. The garden designed by Tanya is out of this world!

The Whale is in a superb location being 50 metres to the coastal path and a 5 minute walk to the golf club. The owners and staff are first class. The outdoor whirlpool was a great bonus.
