Garden and pool are lovely and Kirsten is one of the best host ever met. the lounge upstairs is stunning with an amazing view of the sea and the kitchen is well equipped including a dedicated wine fridge with a good selection of wines available upon request. very close to the cliff path and good for jogging/walking

Kirsten is such a wonderful host! She went out of her way to make our stay special – even organizing a vegan breakfast for me, although it wasn’t on the café menu. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own charm, and the whole house smells amazing. We loved the spacious lounge upstairs with its view over the bay and the honesty bar – such a cozy place to relax. Kirsten also gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations, not only for the area but even for the next stop on our trip. The location couldn’t be better – just a short walk to the Cliff Path and about 10–15 minutes to the town centre. We felt completely at home and would love to come back one day!

Super host, amazing view, near the beach!

Kirsten is the most lovely host you can meet! We got an amazing romantic welcome for our honeymoon but also had the most thoughtful care during our stay. If clothes are in need of a little ironing it’s handled super fast. It’s the best stay you could book! The rooms are decorated with care and the ocean view is lovely!

The road next to home stay is quite loud so if you are sensitive to loud noises bring earplugs. Also breakfast is in a local place nearby but requires a little walk. The breakfast is amazing so it’s worth the little walk :)

Lovely guesthouse at Hermanus

We had a wonderful stay at Kirsten’s guesthouse! She welcomed us so warmly and was always super friendly and helpful — we really appreciated the personal contact and the great communication via WhatsApp. The guesthouse and rooms are beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to the town center and the hiking trail. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and very well kept, but what really stood out was Kirsten’s incredible hospitality. Communication was always fast and easy. She went above and beyond helping me prepare a birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay truly unforgettable. Thank you so much – we can only highly recommend this place!

Amazing!

The Guest House is amazing: everything is clean, very stylish and the hostess is very friendly. Even when we wanted to do some laundry for the clothing Zuki did that for us and we got everything dry and clean back! Definitely a place to stay!

Perfect location with an African touch. Kirsten the host is a diamond, very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is 700m away at ‘The Station’ but choice is limited, I.e. if you order more you have to pay excess.

It was lovely and very peaceful

It was fine but not fantastic.They were very hospitable and kind .Didn't think I should be paying for an extra coffee or smoothie...when it was one croissant cheese and bacon for one or toast and preserve.for the other Croissant was scorched....and didn't improve the second day....even though it was pointed out.

New milk and new water bottles needed in fridge every day...it wasn't renewed unless you asked. Aircon should have instructions ,so had to ask for help the next day....but help was offered as one arrived...or whenever you needed.

Liinen and towels - Excellent and room very neat with a beautiful view.

The Breakfast at a Coffee shop was not up to standard at all. A very small breakfast - not enough for a man. Not really good options. My toasted sandwich was not presented well at all and the bread were not even toasted properly. We only went once in the 8 days we were there and decided to eat at other Restaurants. For the rates we pay we really will suggest to have a proper look at the breakfast.

Very friendly and informative host. The guesthouse was clean, so central and lovely setting, comfortable included breakfast vouchers and lovely touches of personal conveniences.

Overall a great stay. The guesthouse had a fantastic manager and staff. Very high quality.

The room was very spacious. We had a large balcony with a great view across the bay. There was parking available for each room and the walk into the centre of Hermanus only took a few minutes.

There were only two sunbeds by the pool, which was insufficient to serve 5 rooms. Breakfast was included but provided by a nearby cafe rather than in the guesthouse itself.

Tolles guesthouse, empfehlenswert!

Das Team ist sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Wir konnten unsere Wäsche waschen lassen, wir haben zahlreiche Tipps bekommen, Empfehlungen , die Aussicht war großartig. Das Haus liegt an der Straße was aber nicht stört, die Gegend ist sicher, man kann die Küste und Umgebung zu Fuß erkunden. Absolut empfehlenswert

das Frühstück, finde ich okay in einem Café, uns hat das Angebot nicht gefallen, andere fanden es aber gut
