I don't eat bacon. So on the breakfast menu, perhaps another protein option would be great, for example sausage, chicken livers, ground beef,.. etc

Avoid if possible there a lot of good stays in and around Hermanus.

Advertised as luxury accommodation which is false, paid for 2x queen rooms the second once you open the door has a strong smell as I believe they renovated a domestics room, the bed firstly is a double, light fitting broken and gives the room a bad vibe. Had a shower and had cold water only then reached for a towel and it had a spot of blood on it, room overall is poor and definitely not luxury at all, the towels are paper thin. Paid for breakfast included however didn’t eat there once as the croissants are stale and of a very low quality. The check in staff are untrained and said the geysers are not working so I shouldn’t expect hot water. The management was notified about all this on the messages. Upon leaving I spoke to the manager and told her our frustration however I just recieved a very rude message on the app stating next time I should book somewhere else. Unfortunately they take advantage of people and due to this they deserve to get a poor rating. Great location, poor facilities and arrogant staff. In my opinion, the should have simply apologised and tried to resolve as we paid good money to stay in this sub par guest house labeled as luxury.

I would avoid as they are rude and arrogant with poor services and definitely not luxury as indicated.

Amazing and peaceful

This one the cleanest place that I have been to. The host is very charming and I can guarantee you that this really a value for money place to stay. Not far from the waterfront. You don't need a car as everything is closer

A lovely place to stay with great hosts — peaceful and enjoyable when everyone remembers their inside voices.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, which made us feel at home from the start.

Unfortunately, the guests in the unit next to us were quite loud and had clearly enjoyed one drink too many, which resulted in raised voices late into the night and disturbed a few guests. The owner did make an effort to intervene and calm the situation, but it unfortunately continued. This was clearly beyond the owner’s control and seemed to be an isolated incident, though it did make the stay slightly uncomfortable.

Comfortable bed. Rain shower is awesome. Staff is wonderful

Towels too thin. Were soaked wet and were not changed even after asking. Mats in bathroom old and dirty. Aircon was blowing a terrible smell. Was shocked to be charged city tax as a local. Require a refund! This will deter me from future booking Parking space too tight. A true catastrophe, was stuck there and nearly damaged my car, was saved by a tourist who helped me out.

It is a beautiful place to stay, would recommend anyone.

This place is beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The owner and all the staff members are very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay. They allowed us to do a braai using all their facilities and went on to make us pap with gravy. Very impressive indeed!

Great stay in Hermanus

The accommodation was beautiful. We booked the annex as we had a toddler with us and it was wonderfully spacious. We could sit and watch tv in the living room when kiddie was asleep in the room. The kitchen had all the basic amenities and the staff were wonderful and friendly. The guesthouse is close to the main street and it's easy to walk to the town and to the tidal pool. It's definitely a place I would return to

Tiny room, few essentials, reception was basic. Overpriced for what you get. We had far nicer rooms and staff less and was less costly at Knysna and Mossel Bay.. It was passable for one night's sleep. A basic sleeping room, not any more to offer.
