Brilliant location
The indifference of some staff.
Their communication and feedback to clients leaves much to be desired and needs to be addressed. They are not getting the basics right.
We have stayed here twice recently and at least 5 times before.

I was very impressed with the staff on arrival and especially with my suite - a larger suite with balcony and a great view. I don't normally use the evening turn down service but did on my second night. I was shocked to return to my room to find two housekeeping staff taking photos and videos of my suite. They were quite embarrased and left quickly. I emailed the hotel and told the front desk about this - they aplogized but did not reply to my email. So - great hotel and location but keep the 'do not disturb' sign on!

Location, although the pool and garden is set on the main road into Hermanus so noisy traffic
Room was basic but tidy and clean.
Our room was in a block of flats down the side street, not in the hotel. The breakfast was average. Small buffet with dried up coissant, breads etc.
Orange juice dispenser was broken and leaking all over the floor, the staff solution was to put copious amounts of paper towels under it.
