Breakfast limited for vegan on first day but fine on second. Used bus, not long to Stroud town centre.
Room quiet, bed comfortable
Uncomfortable sitting in bed due to headboard.

The suite had every thing we needed. Felt very clean. The bedding was lovely to sleep with. The hosts were very friendly, polite and helpful. The atmosphere in the Inn was very welcoming. Made us all feel very comfortable. The evening meal was lovely and the chef was super friendly. He cooked us a lovely meal. The breakfast was perfect and the host made us feel like we were in her home as guests rather than a hotel. Was so impressed. Perfect place for us to stay for the weekend.
The only thing was the bathroom needed a little bit of repair. The shelf couldn’t be used as it was falling down a little. Could have done with some hooks for the towels inside the bathroom and somewhere to put the shampoos etc in the shower but only very little niggles. Wasn’t that we didn’t like it just some feedback. We would definitely stay again.

Staff were kind, protective and efficient.
The location of the Star Inn was beautiful, surrounded by breath taking views and scenery.
Located just above the top of Stroud with everything being a small distance or commute.
The room we stayed in wasn't great value for money and feel although we have been over priced for what we payed.
The room wasn't clean at all, and felt & looked like it hadn't had a good clean in a while... it was extremely dirty and expensive for the price we paid. We left feeling unclean, dirty and unsatisfied with our overall stay.
