Relaxing, cosy, luxurious, calming beautiful break!

Absolutely wonderful Airbnb!!!!! The accommodation and furnishing were cosy, comfortable, sylish, beautiful, great quality and spotless. Everything you needed was provided and more. Great selection of leaflets, places to visit, local information and takeaways, selection of reading books and magazines to relax with, plus a lovely introduction A4 sheets giving you loads of information. with all the information you needed to make your stay great. Huge selection of Dvds available for viewing. Bedding was luxurious and bed extremely comfortable! So lovely to look at the stars at night whilst in bed through the roof windows. Plenty of radiators and heaters if you get chilly, otherwise lovely cool temperature for those of us needing it. Wet room bathroom was wonderful. Every window had a gorgeous view, especially the view from the balcony at sunset and sunrise! Kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. It was much appreciated that my host Sara, was unwell before and during my stay, she asked what milk, bread and breakfast items I would like, they were there for my arrival, along with a huge selection of teas & coffee, pretty ramekins of butter, marmalade and jam along with surprise fruit scones which were delicious! Sara's customer service did not suffer due to her being unwell and she went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed! It was so peaceful, I had a wonderful nights sleep! I cannot recommend Greencourt Loft - The Cotswold Way, Stroud enough for an amazing break! Thank you Sara for your wonderful hospitality, I hope you're fully recovered now! I would love to come back again X

Comfy stay in a pretty location.

Property fully served its purpose to accomodate 3 adults and 1 dog for 2 nights. The host's comms were great and the place was comfortable, well equipped with good sleeping comfort and quite surroundings. Ideally suited for walks (but we didn't take advantage). Parking right next to the property made things easier. Also location is good for small dog walks.

Ask guest upfront whether they need milk and food, and if not, don't organise thus avoiding potential food waste.

Sara was a thoughtful and approachable host and the breakfast provisions were excellent. The converted garage loft had tree views everywhere and a big comfortable bed with fresh clean linen.

As visiting Australians we were not sure how to work that model of shower, but we worked it out. The small bathroom was adequate but very cramped and the shower got everywhere.

Huge health and safety risk otherwise all good

Very clean, easy to find, very homely feel

The bedroom door leads on to an outside staircase but the lock needs replacing as to both enter and more importantly unlock the door from the inside the key and door need manipulating in a particular way. It took us several minutes to get in at night and I thought I’d have to wake up the owner. It also took several minutes to be able to open the door from the inside in the morning. This is a HUGE health and safety risk as if there was a fire there is no way quick exiting of the property would be possible. It is concerning as the owner was already aware of this and explained that the lock was tricky from the inside. This should not be the case for anyone staying. I have recommended that the lock is changed immediately.

Ideal Cotswold Way walkers accommodation.

The property is just off the Cotswold Way which is why we chose it. With ability to self cater for breakfast and transport for evening meal it was perfect for our needs

Super comfortable loft on Cotswold Way with great host

Sara was an amazing host and was even nice enough to give me a ride to a local restaurant after a long days hike - of all the places I’ve stayed along the Cotswold way I think Greencourt was probably the most comfortable and best rest I got the whole way - also she had some great baked goods upon check in and breakfast provided for in the fridge.

My only issue was that the bathroom had a very minor smell coming from either drain or toilet (it was a wet room style), but I just kept the door closed and it wasn’t a problem and didn’t detract from the overall experience

Great stay, great accommodation, lovely host.

Amazing attention to detail. The accommodation is really nicely done, very clean and ultra-peaceful. Sara was so friendly and made special efforts to get breakfast options for me, and gave me recommendations for eating shopping etc while I was there. The bed is super comfortable. Location is great too - 8 minute drive to central Stroud. I would recommend and will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area. Thank you Sara!

Attractive property in nice location, but avoid unless you're female or short!

Great location, friendly host, field next door for walking the dog, good parking, though turning round was a bit tight. Wifi ok. Clean. Some thoughtful touches like dog blanket/towel, videos, nice muffins.

It's a tight attic conversion over a garage. Navigating around the bed, especially in the dark involves banged heads and shins. Males over about 5'10" will struggle to use the toilet standing due to the sloping roof and need to stand a long way back! Shower weak and temperature varied wildly during showers. Nice bread provided for breakfast, though only enough butter for one and the Marmite jar (I was getting excited and looking forward to this as I'd not had it for a long time!) was almost empty and well past its best. Bed a bit soft and lacking support. Door lock very tricky to unlock - don't plan on escaping a fire in a hurry while you're there. Not allowed to leave your dog unattended - it's not our fault you've had badly behaved previous stayers. Steep stairs.

Cosy little house

The property was great. We had a lovely warm welcome. There is an exceptionally comfortable bed. It was really cosy. The kitchen functioned very well (there is just a combo microwave but this is clearly stated in the advert so wasn’t a problem). It was so nice to have a fridge you couldn’t hear all night. The view from the balcony was great of the setting sun. Provided breakfast was tasty.

Need to watch your head (see photos of property) but this just a warning not a complaint.

We stayed here while hiking the Cotswold Way. The owner was so kind and helpful, making sure we had a way to get to dinner, giving my kids some chocolate cake while we waited to check in (we arrived earlier than we had stated on our booking form), and providing us with a delicious breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. We appreciated having breakfast in our room so that we could leave early.

The accommodation was beautiful! It had all the necessities as well as homely extras. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and cosy. The owners are amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible even specially getting In lacto free milk. The view and area itself is stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and wish we could have stayed longer we would definitely love to come back in the future and explore the area more. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay! Loft room was incredible with excellent continental breakfast. Even blueberry muffins! Lots of place to spread out. Heated tiles in bath. Not close to restaurants if without car, but lots of takeaway delivery. My food that was delivered was excellent! Sara is an amazing host who really cares about her guests. Highly recommend!

Comfy, cosy and beautifully presented.

The room was very cosy, with a lovely little corner bed for the toddler. Everyone slept really well. There were plenty of cushions and pillows to get comfy and it was so good having food available in the morning to set us up for the day. Sara offered eggs, fruit, yogurt etc. On top of the cereals and toast already there. We were also treated to a few sweet goodies, which was lovely.

Just the option of semi-skimmed milk. Just a little thing really. I am confident Sara would have found some for us only it was a bit late when we realised.
