Very welcoming, very clean, enjoyed our stay

The property was really run down, the bed was very uncomfortable and as such the price felt really expensive.

Very convenient accommodation while walking The Cotswold Way.
The best part of our stay was the family dog. Breakfast was good. Owner was friendly. Lovely view out our window of the English countryside. Very close to The Cotswold Way.
The room was a little bit too warm. We had to pay 10 pounds for the staff to wash one load of laundry. Didn’t get to enjoy being outside in a garden like I imagined. VERY steep hill to walk up to get to town. A lot of construction equipment on property (spoiled the atmosphere).

Has great potential but not yet achieved.
The room was spacious. The breakfast was okay with the fruit salad being excellent.
Limited choice of continental and cooked options. In the bathroom the shower was good, but it took an age and wasted water to get only lukewarm water from the handbasins. In the bedroom there was no welcome or TV instruction leaflet (the 3 remotes were baffling). The family dog was allowed to wander into the dining room expecting attention.

The unpaved driveway, full of water filled holes. Too small mirror in bathroom. nothing in shower to put anything on.

It would have been reasonable to mention the amount of building work and vehicles on site at the time of booking. The furnishings are old and tired and not in keeping with the price charged.
