An ancient inn opposite the beautiful St Mary’s church with its 99 Yew Trees! The building is very old and historic. The beer garden provides a shady place to enjoy a drink in the warm weather. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. The simple menu was ok for a one night stopover.
Two flights of stairs to the bedroom which was roasting hot . The provided fan and opening the windows with a cooler evening eventually cooled the room.
