It felt like a mini holiday.
The Painswick is extremely comfortable, beautifully designed and every modern facility to enjoy. All the staff were welcoming, warm and efficient. I enjoyed THE most delicious dinner - cuisine to a very high standard. A beautiful location within an exceptional small town.
Perhaps more lighting in the bedroom.

Lovely cosy night away, although a little over priced.
Lovely freindly staff, brillent view from room, nice and clean, great breakfast. Cosy place. Coffee for the road for the misses a great idea, nice touch.
Car park is a bit dicey but they did offer options to help which was good. No bath robe or slippers that at price point would have thought be there.

Beautiful hotel and grounds!
Wonderful bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed, great shower. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Painswick restaurant.
It was all great. It was our splurge for the Cotswold Way hike. A little more than we usually spend, but it was a beautiful hotel. We'd stay again for a special occasion.

This hotel is as good as it gets in the Cotswolds. We loved every minute of our stay.
Absolutely everything!! The building itself is exceptional, the rooms are beautiful, she water pressure in the showers is top notch, the food was divine, the open fire places in the lounges were beautifully lit in the evenings, and as for the service, wow!!! We can highly recommend this hotel!!!
